Is there a rig or module that will increase this? I want to put Ogre IIs on a Myrm but it only has 75 mhz and i need 150 to sport all 5
Looked up...saw this F***ING clown dropping like a rock.-á Woke up in Vylade wondering what just happened!!! |

Nope, you would have to upgrade to a better ship. Ishtar, (Navy) Dominix, Gila, Rattlesnake, and lolSin should all have 125mb.
EDIT: Also Armageddon, Typhoon and faction variants (Not Bhaal). |

Well that sucks. Still, flying 3 with two drone damage augmentors gives me +125 DPS

When they do the BC pass, they are talking about making the Prophecy a drone boat on par with the Myrm, and increasing the Myrm's bandwith a bit. (I hope they go with 100 / 125, and not 75/100). |

You need 125, not 150.

If you're going for optimal paper dps from 75mb, use 2 heavies, 2 mediums, and one light.
Or, you could just use a flight of mediums and have some spares... >_>

Web drone.
5 Mediums.
Use web with 4 meds when you fight cruisers and smaller.
All 5 meds when you attack bc and up.
This is when caldari drones come in handy as Vespas have higher tracking and speed then hobs and will be more effective with the web drone. |

Ogres II can kill spider drones with just 1 omni and you have troubles killing cruisers with meds?
An navy versions track even better.
2OP: use 3 sentries mate, the sooner you start using them the sooner your pain will go away  With 2 omnis they will hit cruisers even on low orbit and as for small stuff.... you do got cannns on your myrm, right? |

I was thinking the same thing. I have great drone skills, so I just throw meds at frigs and they go pop. Can't imagine them having trouble hitting cruisers. |

You guys seem to be assuming that it's a pve fit.
Maybe it's a shield fit for pvp and your tank and max damage are more important.
Also you still have 75 more m3 in drone space so you can use either set as needed. |

Tripple rep Myrms with 5x Ogre 2s were the norm. Was quite fun. |

Remember the 10 drone domi's, pretty sure Drone Interfacing or whatever it was called back then increased the drones you could use by 1, meaning lvl5 = 10 drones. Now we have a 20% increase per level, effectively same thing, less lag.

It's been said many times that 100Mb might be more suitable for the Myrm.
It struggles severely with damage projection and even the on-paper numbers of the Myrm do not seem that amazing. The reason being that heavy drones are so slow then can either be easily kited and killed whilst sentries come with their own limitations.
The tripple-rep Myrm can make a good solo brawler. When you're in a Myrm you really want to get right on top of your target, tackle them, and then lay on the DPS whilst you hope to tank out them and and of their friends that show up. The thing is that doing this is easier said than done in a slow, armor tanked ship.
The bottom line is that now I have one of those annoying signatures. |
