I would suggest the Sisters of EVE epic arc : This particular epic arc starts out at the agent Sister Alitura, who is located at Sister of EVE Bureau station at planet IX GÇô moon 3 in the Arnon solar system Also joining a corpo who helps newcomers could be a first step. |

In game, click on the icon "corporation", then the tab recruitment. There you can select some criterions to find corpos compatible with what you seek. In your case don't forget to select "New-pilot friendly" among the other options you are interested in. Also maybe avoid to select "hardcore". |

In before Swift&Bitter link on what to do.
Other posts are great advice.
Also, here on the forums there is a category specially for recruitment adverts, take a look there to see if you find a corp that spots your interest.
But most importantly (cause there are lots and lots of bad corps out there) do research on possible corps before joining.

On finding a corp, DON'T give them anything. No ISK, no contract to haul your stuff. Nothing. They should want you, not your stuff.
Ok, API key is ok, but nothing more. |

It has a lot of helpful links in it to various sources, specifically aimed at new players.
If you have any specific questions afterwards, please feel free to post them.

While you're figuring out what it is that you want to do you should be focusing on your core skills. Check the certificates out as a guide toward what will be on that category. You don't need to get all the cert's but it will show you which direction to go in. the core skills will be useful no matter what you fly or what you do while flying it. Insert something witty and clever here |

I wont link them this time, but as I said in another post EVE Uni and Red vs Blue are good places to start.
If you are a redditer you should consider joining test alliance as they have a pretty intense new player program. Noir. and Noir Academy are recruiting apply at www.noirmercs.comI Noir Academy: 60 days old must be able to fly at least one tech II frigate. I Noir. Recruits: 4:1 k/d ratio and can fly tech II cruisers. |

yep. The OP clearly smells like alt.
From the high quality customizations of the head shot that a true newb would not bother with, to the lack of specific question, to deflecting what he knows will be the answer (do the tutorials), to the speed in which he asks how to find a corp... (6 minutes after his first post).
Hint: most real new players are hit up with lots of offers to join corps, long before they really understand that they should join a player run corp. (And certainly before they know that "player run corporation" is simply called corp in the forums.)
The OP reaks of "alt" pretending to be new player.
If I'm wrong, then I apologize. If I'm not wrong, perhaps some advice....
If you really want your alt to get recruited into a corp, come to the new citizen's forum with a common question that newb's have, but would wait until the got to the forums to ask instead of just asking in the rookie chat "in game".
Some suggestions: How do I add more than 2 guns (missile launchers) to my (insert frigate name here)?
How do I add more power grid to my ship?
How can I fly two ships from one location to another?
Where can I buy a (named item) blue print?
I bought an item from the market but it hasn't shown up in my inventory. How long does it take to show up?
Something like that. Say you are newb, without saying you are newb. You will get lots of recruitment offers from corps, without even saying you are looking for a corp.

The only way to properly enjoy eve is to treat it like a string of pearls, each pearl is a beautiful explosion of someone elses hard earned ship trailing behind you.
