i have now tried training both torpedoes to lvl2 and spaceship command to lvl4, both sit on completion iminent, 1 point from the next lvl, for eternity :( i have tried waiting 20mins then switching, but all this did was make me lose the training. come on CCP! it's gonna take me months to level all the skills i need up anyway, and now some ****y bug is depriving me of what training i do. this needs fixing now, as thats 2 skill lvls that have been stolen from me :(

Buy a new skill preferably rank 1 and train to level 1, your other skills that are stuck on completion iminent should complete then.

I have the same problem. Training a new skill doesn't help - it just resets the almost finished skill to a negative value.
The GMs couldn't find a fix, so this has been escalated to the Devs - or so they told me, in response to a petition.
The good thing is, you can train other skills. The bad thing is - the skill you got stuck on will not finish.

i had that same problem with the negative value on skill points. i just restarted eve and it worked correctly.
it happened when i got ****ed about the completion imminent thing lasting too long and decided to switch skills....causing me to get the bug (from what i've determined...i may be wrong)
my question is, why the heck do we got that completion imminent thing? when when the timer hits zero, give us the friggin skill lol

You guys should worry,
I had to stop a skill to learn level 3 crusier,
but the skill would not train after 10mins it just did nothing however hard i tried after trying a few other skills i gave up nothing would train
i relogged and bang all my skills were missing from my character sheet. It is now 3days since and still very blank, my alt character has hers but my main one is missing all of them. I have a revolving searching arrow but thats it after 30mins still there.
I was giving up on CCP but today 2 very helpful GM's have tried to sort it, still no go so its been passed up a level to seniors. I hopefully will have them soon.At least we are on track.

I think this is a cosmetic bug in that the points on the skill being trained aren't being displayed properly. I currently have a skill one point from completion but it shouldn't complete for another ten hours or so. When you switch skills the points get refreshed and actually show the correct amount (which is obviously less than you thought you had).
Try it and see.

Just tested and it's cosmetic. You haven't lost any time at all. Dunno about the guy saying he had negative values though - assuming you meant negative and not a smaller value.

YES! Negative values! What the heck is with that? Whenever I switch training, the skill I'm switching to goes imediately from x starting point to -x starting point (below zero). This can be fixed somewhat by stopping the training and restarting it (not switching). This resets back to the base amount of the trained level. Not where I started from, but at least not below zero.
No response on my petition yet.

This is a lost training time issue and therefore I will nto start a new thread for it, but put this message here.
I created a new character on june 9th to get the production efficiency skill. I am now nearing lvl 5 of this rank 3 skill with no learning skills. Of course, just a few days ago it became available on the market. Anyway my lost time is this. Yesterday I had 1 day, 9 hours and a few minutes to completion. Today I have 3 days, 13 hours and some minutes to completetion.
What the heck happened? I know I did not miss any rollbacks, would have heard the thud of it. anyone else experienced this lost time or adding of time to completion.
