I made BR20 CR5 within 4 months of the game going retail and played it religously for about 2 years. Do I know any of you guys? Also, while we are on topic what do you guys think of Eve? It just has so much going for it I could go on and on, ( and probably will on another post ).

MooKids	Posted - 2005.04.23 16:09:00 - [9] I started in closed exclusive Beta and played a couple months past launch. The game started going downhill for me when the Fileplanet open beta hit. Even in retail, people ruined it for me. They were more concerned with raising their level, instead of actually playing and fighting. I had one person tell me it was fun to level and another say he was better than me JUST BECAUSE he had a higher BR. I did play on Markov too, and remembered the Devil Dogs and their recruiting tactics. You weren't in a unit, they sent you a unit invite, nothing else needed to join . -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity.

Found the game too damn repetative, attack base 1 on continent A, take it, attack base 2 on continent A (meanwhile you just lost base 1 to enemy forces who snuck behind enemy lines), back to base 1 on continent A. Rinse and repeat 20 million times, logoff.

Did they ever manage to balance the weapons? I remember Terrans being unbeliveably Uber with their Cycler and all hitscan weapons. I used to take the Gatling gun terran Max and camp enemy spawntubes with it. I could cut everyone down before they made it 10 feet to the inventory terminals. Nemo me impune lacessit

I also liked to go in cloaked.. but there was seriously no use for it really.. i got a few kills that way but seriously.. it wasent that fun.. there was no .. cool stuff you could do like stealth kills or something......... and my god man the lag had to have been the worst lag on any online game .. Been a Vanu since beta, never had another character in a different empire (although those damn NC phoenix's brought me close to switching a few times). I took a break from EVE recently and played PS for a while again, but I came back to EVE. This game is too kickass to switch to SOE.

Yeah, I had no job) and scored an insane number of kills in Mosqies and Reavers. Nothing would make a smile on my face grow bigger than popping a Galaxy full of troopers, or hitting full afterburner and ejecting right on top of a TR flakker. I was also one of those cloak+mine using jerks . Then Core Combat came out and made the game kinda stupid, so I left to play some other dumb game that I can't remember.
