Technically speaking you are paying for whatever amount of up-time we can provide, for access to the servers while they are up basically. Nowhere does it say that you are paying for 24 hour access per day. That being said, downtime has steadily decreased through the years, both in terms of unexpected downtimes and crashes, and the minutes it takes to perform the daily maintenance tasks.

The daily downtime is often less than 10 minutes although we typically reserve a half hour to be on the safe side.

15 hours of time ATLEAST that is payed for and that every player can't play.

It would be much more fair if those downtime hours were not reducted, infact. I am paying to play, so when i have payed i like to play. And i'm glad for the downtime and the active updating, but for that, we already pay.

now i agree that 15 hours a month is not much, and i am a casual player so its not like i am writing this to be a pain in one's ass. but if one would calculate this for the entire eve player database.

wich would be like 50,000x that 15 hours, CCP is getting rich!!

It's common for games not to care for those kinds of things, but when for example my IE provider simply cannot maintain to provide me with my internet, that i pay for, then i simply switch, it's their loose. So what does that provider do? Reimburse you with either a offer or anything. They try to let you feel they actually want you as a costumer.

I think im not the only one saying CCP doesn't give that feeling at all.

In those 31 days, how many hour do you spend sleeping? That is time you've paid for but can't play.
