now that the new EW changes have been rolled out have CCP made the rats jammable yet? or are they waiting on it...

the patch notes says so, but if the things hasn't changed, dont expect high success rate of ew on rats with their 100 sensor strenghts...

Rats got proper sensor strengths. I was jamming NPC frigs with my BB on patch day. One jammer seemed to jamm them most of the time.

Dont know about target jamming them but I have tried using tech II target painter on cruiser rats and it appears to make no differnce.
will make scorp and blackbird viable support ships for complexs if they can be jammed.

shield transporters and armour repairers work wonders on the rats, not sure if tracking links work or not. they never seem to talk back when i try and ask them :/

Maybe not... I jammed 3 BS with my scorp (I was support for a raven) and when they escape from jamm choosed me as primary, forced me to jam as hell to remain in live. Was close...

Jammers work very nicely on rats.
Makes NPCing in a scorp quite a lot of fun :)

Ecm works fine on rats, as I have been provign daily with my ECM tanked griffin and Blackbird(soon to be scorp as well, jamming is addictive...).
Also, Tracking Disruptors appear to work, as do target painters, I was locking ships much faster with them target painted.
However, sensor dampeners do not appear to work, as rats seem to have an unlimited targetting range. This of course makes the Maulus and Celestis new bonuses quite useless to the player interested in PvE when it could have been allowing them to have as much fun with their EW as I am. Too bad.

Are Racial jammers effective against rats? in wich case, what would be the correct kind to use against angels, ladar?

Dampner don't work due to the AI. NPCs don't seem to close on you unless they get a lock, so if you dampner them you could fire at them all day while they sit there cause they cannot target you

Not my fault, not my place to suggest a fix for the AI as I am no programmer.
It is however my place to dislike (and let people know about) the fact that two ships have a bonus that is quite useless for PvE, while the other races are not, thus penalizing players for going with their race's ships.

Probably same as the local empire (Minmatar), so I believe so. Though it's late, and I honestly can't remember if Minmatar use ladar systems in the first place...
