KIAEddZ	Posted - 2005.04.26 11:30:00 - [36] Whilst I do not in any way wish to add to this flame bait thread, I do feel it is necessary to comment on what we have seen. As some may or may not know, KIA has been hired to attack FOE in their soveriegn systems OBE/JAN/NALVULA For the past 13 days we have been a constant presence in these areas. Only safe spotting/logging/moving elsewhere when the blob numbers from FOE have been so large that we were unable to effectively hit our mark. The first few days saw very little PvP resistance, but things changed quickly. CELTS and other known PvP veterans returned to OBE, and quickly KIA was put under large pressure. Severely outnumbered at most times, it was hard, but of course fun. This continued, with an ebb and flow for nearly a week. The last few days have been very starnge though, CELTS had their last hurrah last night. Was great fun, shame KIA didn't have the numbers on to give them what they deserved, but alass, we played some cat n mouse and my respect goes out to CELTS, true PvPers till the end. But there are certainly internal problems for FOE. And their presence in OBE etc is goingto be in big truoble without CELTS. Withdrawing their forces to OBE, or paying the MC etc to war dec theor opponents and base in OBE is maybe thier final roll of the dice, but it does not bode well for the war they were pursuing. The rumour mill is in overtime of course, but from internal sources, I know that things aren't rosy at the top. The next couple of days will of course tell the tale, but if what I have been told by some very senior members of FOE is true, then we may see a couple more large highy profile corps leave FOE. Is FOE dead? Absolutely not. But they do have some problems to work out, and it is now down to the leadership, to take of the hats of pride, and start doing the business needed to keep thier alliance alive. From KIAs pov, our contract has been extended by another week, so we will carry on doing what we do. My suggestion is that Foyle and Co contact Cochise an co, and draw up plans for peace, because no matter how much money you have, I don't believe this is a war you can win, and if FOE is to survive and regroup it will need some space n time to do it in. On a personal note, NEVER in all the time that I have played eve (and remember I have fought in 3 wars vs Evol etc) have I ever had to endure more retarded or immature smack talk in local than I have in this campaign. As a merc corp, we are absolutely determined to avoid personal feeling in the campaigns we undertake, but it has got increasingly tougher to endure the peronal insults, the incessant smack, and ridiculous testosterone driven chest beating from our current marks. Ive basically been playing games online since 1998, and last night will go down as a milestone in history regarding smack. Not even spoiled 14 year olds smacktalk as much as Imperium. Its pathetic. First Imperium releases their briliant video, which in turn makes all of EVE realise just what a bunch of rejects they are.Then they pull a stunt like this. And then their personal attacks on Foyle The Foyle abuse is really getting old. How long is it since you left CA? You act like a jealous x boyfriend because all you achieve by dissing Foyle is strenghten our loyalty towards her. Writing "Foyle is screwing you"/"you are suck ups to Foyle" in local really isnt helping your cause. So dear Imperium, if you have ANY hopes of receiving atleast one ounce of respect please try to limit your smacktalk to your own alliance chat.

PA could have hired us to hit FoE again and we would have happily done so. Instead we've been hired to hit PA and friends. When our contract is over, our pilots will go back to thier agent running/mining/NPCing/pron downloading or whatever it is we do when not on the job. Our part in this is temporary. As to what FoE's chances are, i say this: If PA can survive Bob, then FoE can survive what's on its doorstep at the moment. Lastly, long before the MC was ever contracted to assist FoE, or even strike against them, I've had a cordial relationship with Foyle. She seems dedicated to her alliance as much as any other leader. I don't get all the hate. shrug - T2 Weapons Testing in progress! Volunteer today!

Zandramus heh...ive received hate mail from kia corp, and others.. for 'bailing'.... IMP wouldnt set foot near FoE if foe didnt have another 3 alliances and empire wars to deal with, simply because IMP wouldnt of been able to handle foe in their prime...even if imp were at theirs. They are drugged up kiddies that have experienced a life of rejection and are trying to compensate for that by smacktalking and joining a bandwagon in an attempt to save some of their self-pride. im still fighting, just not under a FoE banner anymore ;) ty siim for thinking im so uber that an alliance would fall if i left :P ur heart was in the right place! As for foyle, i really dont understand why anyone would hate such a loving person! she did more for foe than any of the other leaders (including the fe ones), she has put time and money into keeping the alliance going, and i didnt know anyone in the alliance that didnt like her. She's actually a kewl person to talk to, and work with, and contry (sp), to the propaganda cares about the little guy. Recently at the start of all this, we had rogue pilots attempting to do stuff solo in Tribute. Foyles Primary concern was to get those pilots grouped up safely, and worry about the stations later. Look around in other groups in the game, everyone roleplays different characters. SirMolle for example, has his ebil cunning bad guy routine, with his patented Get Out Clause, kewl, as it all adds depth to the game. What worries me is that this get to OOG hate and thats just plain unhealthy. For the haters, if u were to meet Foyle in a eve get together, id say you would consider doing 2 things, 1) Share a brew and have a laugh 2) Mumble to urself and revel in ur hate, generally be abusive etc. If you find you are option 2, u need to spend less time playing this game. For ur supposid internal disgruntled boys telling u stuff, they prob arnt there for the gangs she organises, and generally how she is pretty much there for anyone in alliance to simply chat to. They prob login to go mine at the wrong time. FoE's political structure is pretty simple, she orders, we do it, and its seems to work for the most part. For those that whine and moan, its all about tactics, plain and simple. In this case its as stated a numbers game. Secondly with no offical war decs between G/PA/IRON and FoE, means the fight stays out in 0.0. However the use of Mercs allows the targetting for any alliances softer Empire underbelly (look at XF). Tactics. Neglected to be brought up is the fact that KIA was hired before the MC contract was issued. Sure I'm and ALT, but i have 9M SP, and play with this guy the most. Oh and im sure the flamers will say because im in Foyles corp what i say is biased. D

I think what most fail to realize... 90% of FOE wanted this war. It was stressed for over a month, that we would not be just fighting PA. Still the consensus was to fight them, so we gave the members what they wanted. We do not have votes, meetings or official council standoffs on a weekly basis to justify a war or to have new corp join etc. For anyone to sit and say this war was all about ôFoyleö or what ôFoyleö wanted is just pure crap Eternally yours, MuthaTrucka
