It wasnt a case of suriving, it was a case of running to empire to bore us to death.

We do not have votes, meetings or official council standoffs on a weekly basis to justify a war or to have new corp join etc.
For anyone to sit and say this war was all about ôFoyleö or what ôFoyleö wanted is just pure crap
Well your members got what they wanted. I also believe that it is the leaders task to lead and let its followers know what perils they will be faced with, sometimes a leader has to go against "popular" opinion even though it is difficult.
Whatever happens next will probably be blamed or credited to you, since you were at the helm when the war against the whole North was started. Personally It didn't take a seer to know that fighting PA/G/IMP/IRON at the same time was going to get "sporty" for FoE.
I will finish my post with the words of one of the great Generals of the 19th Century, William T. Sherman, I believe it represents how the PA feels about this war: "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen, and I say let us give them all they want."

Be careful what you wish for, sometimes if we find enough loot we stick around for a while. And generally lots of peeps leave an alliance when we are around.

I appreciate the kind words. I never let the forums get to me. I actually laugh at them. IMP sent me numerous eve-mails yesterday when I was not online. Some just childish crap and others down right vulgar. Xirt is a 50+ yr old leader of romper room. If members of FOE pulled that, they would be gone.
People often forget, itÆs a game.
First and foremost this is not a flame towards you personally Foyle.
This is just a truthfull retort to your above statement. I like you personaly just have to say what I feel.
Speaking of Romper room I heard the audio capture of your temper tantrum on the FOE teamspeak the other day.
You were so ****ed you went into the AFK room cuz no one would fight the invading force.
Wish someone would post a link to that audio clip, People would see the real spoiled brat side of you that you claim doesnt exist.
Calling the kettle black by attacking xirt on these forums solves nothing.
I dont agree with the evemail and Smack in local but you can sometimes be just as brash and rude to people.

what i don't understand is how Foyle was able to go from a leadership role in the CA (and be considered by some to be the ultimate cause for its dissolution) and then quickly rise to the leadership ranks of FOE?
not pointing fingers, i'm genuinely curious about how that worked

FoE, TPS, GN, FE, etc... etc... etc...
Fact of the matter is most of these guys have been flying together for a LONG time now, a few leaving is not going to make one bit of difference.
Just keep praying that one day all the ones that left dont come back, cause if they do EVE has a serious problem. A big portion of the eve PVP comunity has been in or involved with the P3EN alliance.
When FoE falls, a new pirate alliance will pop up in the same area with the same old faces and a few new ones. Has been happening since the begining of EVE.
The only group of people that can beat FoE is them selves. If they start to fight each other(sounds familiar) they will end up killing them selves(dejavu). If they stick together, no alliance in this game can beat a group dedicated to PVP only.

Omg SSSHHHH don't let them know it was supposed to be a secret!!!! But yes, if everyone who was involved with us in the past all joined up, well then there wouldn't be any point in playing the game any more. The alliance that has held Tribute, Vale and Geminate, under its various guises and it's varied player-base, has been the pre-eminent learning ground for the budding PVP player. Its what we do. A service to the EVE community, albeit for non-altruistic reasons. We have always been here, and come what may, always will be.

Hmm... Personally every time I have spoken with Foyle she has been very level-headed and respectful to me as a person; both when I was in CA and afterwards when we have spoken. I cannot speak for others on this subject, however Foyle does have my respect as a individual. Don't bash the leader of an alliance because of your own petty disagreements or you own point-of-view. Everyone in any alliance has a right "an ability" to speak out against things that they believe should be going in a different direction within their own discussion forums. This is not the place , and if you don't like it simply get out or deal with it.
PS: if anyone has a problem with my point-of-view then contact me and I'll oblige you with a response using the same respect you give me.
