So, I have just done the last mission I needed to get enough LP for the offer I want. whats the best plan of action now to give me the best chance of actually getting that offer? if I just plow on and do more missions is there a chance I will get too many points for that offer to come up?

Seems like it. I have 130k now and I don't get offers below 75k or so. At least, I haven't. I got to the point where I had what I needed and then only went back to visit when he gave me an offer just to wake him up. Unfortunately, they changed the reqs for items, so I have no clue what I need now.

stop doing missions for agent, move to another.
when you get offer you have to refuse, go do another mission.
rinse & repeat

What he said, with a little addition:
If, for some reason, you should hit twice the amount of LP needed for the offer, accept the next decent offer that is coming up, then work your way back to the needed LP (so, if you are waiting for a 10k offer, and hit 20k, try to get your LP back down to 10k).

how do you know when the agents will offer you decent loyalty rewards? is there a list of what items you get from specific agents? cause i'm only doing lvl2 misssions, and i have about 1.8k loyalty points, and it would be very nice to know the number i need, for a decent reward.

If u goto the link at the top of this forum called mission resources guide, then click on the link called hido's agent offer's database, it has a list that is quite well done of what you could be offerd by an agent v's your LP.

There is really no "best" way due to the way the system is setup.
Most people do one agent,and want an offer.But most of the time they just shoot past(yay for mining crystal offers!) and then its over.No more chances,unless you get a nice offer that you want and work back up to your original offer and pray that it works this time.
Its hit and miss.Hit and miss.
If you have agents of the same level,the same corp,and reasonable quality,you can try running multiple agents for offers but it dosnt do much.I have one main agent in isto,1 level 3 in hedal and 1 level 2 in hedal.I basically just keep doing one mission for them whenever i need to get the counter to kick start again.Most of the time i get mining crystals,per implants,or some other funky stuff i cant use.
Also its a very good question if your area has lots of the same level,reasonable quality agents.Very good qeustion.

thanks for the link to that agent reward thing. but are the rewards race specific, ie caldari ships from caldari agents? and do those rewards apply to all agents? ie lvl1, lvl2, etc....

Some rewards are faction specific (factions ships and modules), some are even division specific (implants), but as far as I know, none are level specific. If you have enough LP, you have a chance to get that offer, no matter what level the agent is.
