Last question. I'm gonna try some ratting, but should i stick with techII rails, or switch to blasters? I used to use rails, but getting in close is something that will happen alot with drones.

i agree with the original post. eve has, by far, the widest scope for doing things, and you should just play as you like playing. giving tips is great, but only use them to do what you want to do. p.s. nerf rogues (and shamans)

i would assume its just that he charged into the dungeon, filled with lots of high level monsters, without backup. in eve terms, jumping right into the middle of a big group of ceptors' in a battleship. laughed my ass off when i saw this
