You sure you not just happening to get those missions that normally send you out more often?
For exmaple:
Stop The Thief
Seek And Destroy
The Rogue Slave Trader
Intercept the Pirate Smugglers
Sabotaged
...
these all traidtionally send you off beyond home system prior to patch

Yeah, I'll adapt to it as much as you and your ilk have adapted to people being happy doing level 4 misisons the way they were.

Yeah actually your right Question2... I'm getting a rather consistent extra jump for all my missions, even Rogue Drone Harassment and the Extravaganza mission- which always used to be in same system :(
Yay let's make this game more fun by adding travel time
The nerf bat is coming down on agent missions, thanks to the fevered pitch of whining and moaning by a select few who just aren't content to let other people have any fun. We need to take a few pointers from them and learn how to whine like that. Perhaps I need to castrate myself in order to reach that high-pitch nagging sound in my voice like they do?

so no response to my comment? Why haven't you adapted to the situation where people were content with their agent missions? Did they spoil your fun? And then now you go blurting out for other people to adapt to the nerfing going on? Hypocrit much?

ok so empire had it's local missions while 0.0 had it's chaining... or should we take away chaining now so npc hunters in 0.0 have to actually move as well? Chaining is even worse, you dont have to fly back to station and take another mission- you just sit in one spot and wait.
