One of the things that reviewers of EVE have always given high marks for is the quality of the artwork in the game. The star systems, design of the ships, the look and feel of the interface have always been lauded. All of that work has to start somewhere however, and that start is in the Graphics department with concept artwork.
For quite some time, players (and to be completely honest, lots of the CCP staff) have been asking for a compilation of concept art, artwork and graphics. The Marketing department has been looking for a suitable publisher and there is the possibility that one has been found.
Hellmar has posted a new Dev Blog with this information and much more. He is also soliciting comments to see how much interest there would be in an EVE Art book. If this is something that you would like to have on your coffee table, or just something to browse through, please visit the Dev Blog and leave a comment. The more favorable comments that are left, the higher the chances of the book actually being produced.

Id like to see some of the chronicles in paper back format along with cool art im just not sure id buy one, it depends if the price was reasonable and if we get a discount for being loyal subscribers (ok worth a try  )

I would lurve a book with concept art. Can't remember where I saw quite a bit months ago, what I saw I loved to bits.
Great idea, concept sketches of new bits to come would be pretty awesome too...gimme!

I can assure you a purchase of one copy by me, except if any higher circumstances (invasion by aliens, abduction by aliens, USA invades Austria, etc.) would prevent me from doing so.

One thing I would also love to see in the game if possible is some high-res ship renders. They look great in game but would love to be able to look at them in super-high poly version with very high detail textures.
