I know that you must creat a triangle around target to find it, but how do you creat one when target is above and there are no warpable objects close to it?(thinking about deadspace misssions l4 here)?
any tips?

If you are thinking about ganking people in deadspace mission?
Its against the rules i think.

I was wondering about this as well.
For example what if someone has a safespot just outside the system? I couldnt put 3 probes around him so how would i go about finding him?
Scan probes are confusing

well its 0.4 or lower..so dont see a problem there..

Has anyone tried the 192AU probes? It seems that if you want to find such a target you have to have the skills. I have not tried it, but I assume that would be the trick to try.

Isnt the problem with the probes the fact that they scan pancake wise rather than sperical, so your 192 au probe scans 192 au accross in a big circle, but the scan depth is only 1au up/down.
