Great channel to have!
A couple years ago I started hauling on a regular basis, and learned a few things here and there. Even from the gankees who gave me tips on avoiding traps and such :)
From the Badger to the Charon, hauling can be a very good source of income. I do mine of course, but not anywhere near as much as I used to since now I concentrate on hauling more often. I'll even do the occasional lo-sec run, in a Viator of course!
After I bought my Charon for about 1.5 bil, it only took me a little over a month before I made that cost up via hauling :)
Anywaz, this is a great channel for pros and newbies alike I think.

2nd POST.......
Since joining the channel, I have greatly increased my hauling runs.
So more runs = more isks :)
But, also one establishes more contacts, and you also get to learn a few more things here and there!
The contracts offered by Rita Jita are very generous in the reward, and collateral is fair. And it's not to much to ask that they be delivered before one logs off, since the runs affect the timing and market of their prompt delivery.
Tho most of the contracts are for freighters, a budding hauler with a lesser ship can still pick up some nice runs here and there, above and beyond the Public Contracts link. Not to mention very helpful advice from the freighter pilots :)
I'd like to thank Whitehound who invited me to this GREAT channel, and for Rita Jita for it's inception and many a proftiable runs.

Another great advantage of the channel, is how much the pilots can help each other out.
I recently found myself stuck in a .3 station, and was helped out safely via a fellow pilot's BM.
It's great in many ways! :)

For those who are behind the scenes, and may be afraid to jump into the chat.....dont be! :)
The channel usually is always under close supervision by moderators, so if anyone starts to get out of hand, they will be dealt with. It's usually a great place to hang out, and if ever you run across a problem, just raise your hand and ask for help.
So, for those new guys to the game and the channel, dont feel intimidated. We all started from scratch.

Well........ I was a mod in the channel. Thought I was doing my job in helping to keep the channel on topic and keeping trolls out, but apparently no good deed goes unpunished. So...whatever!
There are still many good things about the channel, but in the last few months it definately has gone down hill, Im sorry to say.
Not gonna say anything that applies to the "If it happens in Vegas, it stays in Vegas" aspect of in house brass stuff, suffice to say.
Of course I'll still hang in the HC, but with a much, much lower profile. So those who wanna chat or have a question just convo me. Still making lots of iskies :)

Great to see the Channel back to it's old self!
In the few years it's been around I've made billions and learned a great deal too!
If you are a new hauler to the business, it's a great place to grow and learn, even during the occasional "bumps"
you'll come back stronger!

If you are new to hauling, the channel is one of the best ways to get into the profession as far as advice and tips go. Dont go at it alone.
In no time you'll find that you are making tons of isks..... :)
