This is a petition to end the *****ing and whining going on in these forums. All I ever read anymore is ôNerf this becauseà.ö ôLv4 missions thatà.ö ôOMFG another ore thiefà.ö And the list goes on.
I know itÆs human nature to complain but Damn this is out of hand.
Eve is a great game one of which I have been playing just short of a year now. I have had fun with it or I wouldnÆt have stayed so long. I do agree that it is frustrating to have your favorite ship nerfed but come on, itÆs only a game. Move on! I have, and am still having fun.
So Just say No to Kill Boards (itÆs a game), only the loud and brash give a crap about showing off their skillz. The professionals donÆt have a need to brag about their own abilities.
Just say No to the crybabies whining about there lilÆ ole mining ship suddenly exploding in .8 space. No one got hurt. Hell you probably have enough ISK to buy another one anyway, more like 2 or even 3. ItÆs a game
Ore thievesàwho cares!! If they need it that bad that they have to steel (take) it from right in front of you then let them have it. No I havenÆt ever done any ore thieving. If your that concerned about it then try to pod his behind before he gets away with it. Of course then you will pay to but remember ItÆs a game.
So Stop the whining.
Uh oh, here I am whining about people whining. OÆwell, just wanted to speak up.
Last thing in my profession we have a saying, something for you to think about ôIf you ainÆt *****ing then you ainÆt happyö. So I guess with all the *****ing going on around here I guess we are just overjoyed with CCP and Eve. Keep it up

It is a thin line between whining and legimate concerns. A game forums such as this one needs of course to have discussions on what might better the game.
But I agree, some people are not being reasonable and perhaps could put their views forward in somewhat more "mature" way

Constructive Critisism is ok. Whining is not. Im also getting sick of people whining
For example the missle "nerf", I have seen people already whining about it when its not even on the TEST SERVER yet
Its just stupid, wait till they are on the test server go on the test server and TEST THEM. Then give your idea about them and how to make them better not just "omgwtf i dont like them!11"
About Ore thieves, use freakin secure cans thats why we have them. If you done and get your ore stolen I do NOT want to hear about it on forums. We dont need a damn post everytime somone steals your ore.
Also I think killboards are fine, but the people that all they care about is their stats are not, its only a game
I remeber when I first started EVE the forums were a intersting place cause people acctually posted intresting things (One thing I remeber the most is somone wrote a story how the discovered a wormhole and found earth, and have some nice photoshopped pics  )
But now they are totally opposite. The whining is getting old.

Exactly what Tekka says. I hardly come to these forums anymore because of the complaining. It used to be helpful..today it's questionable how helpful it is.

Signing should be nerfed. It's way to overpowered atm. The casual player has no chance to compete with the signing of veterans. Also please add secure signing so the goddamn signature theives will stop stealing my hard-earned signage. Insta-signs should be removed too.

Maybe a own forum section for petitions and moaning would be suitable  Then have anyone who posted related topics outside it, get warnings or get banned on the forums. Guess the problem would be to find someone crazy enough to moderate it, hehe

Forums nerfs are needed. Like with post ranking. And no more bumping. And being able to find your old posts like on a halfway decent board. and like a search bar.
Most people want posting to be tied to ingame stuff. Like if someone says something really smart, dumb people are going to want to kill them for it. That's just evolution you know?

The only difference between someone whining and voicing concerns, is that the person reading disagrees with them.
You agree - they're just posting their opinion.
You disagree - they're whining.

It be different if people from both sides of the aisle could be a bit more humble and mature when posting. Alas, such a thing is not possible and you will always have the vocal minority pandering to get their way. And they will get it: afterall, they are the vocal ones and who CCP sees as its "customer base"
I don't know the solution (as "just saying 'no'" is obviously not one) but I am inclined to think that the devs would likely get more quality input out of people that care for the game and the gaming experience. I know they do this for Alliance leaders, but that isn't enough of a player base I think. Long-termers who know what the heck they are talking about and are willing to help: not 2-month old teenagers pining for a new BS because they lost it in low-sec mining afk.
I think FanFest would be a great place to get in contact with such people, because they show their support the game. Maybe another would be private forums for characters that are over a year old, and another for two years old. The character would have to be on one account for that time (or you corrupt your knowlege base by players who bought a character).
I don't know - just spewing ideas here...
