After much deliberation I am going to buy a new headset. I figured a community such as ours would have some experience with such a matter and would be able to help me sort through all the marketing lies. I need something with noise cancelling. I live in a very hot climate and often have fans running. I would also like something with decent quality mic. I do have a budget of 150 USD. Please post your suggestions and experiences with products. Thank you in advance for you help finding a suitable product. |

Hands down the best headset I ever used, and the lack of cords just makes it wonderful (I can go pee when you don't even know and still hear you).
/c Do these offer a charging station or similar option or do they take batteries? |

/c Do these offer a charging station or similar option or do they take batteries? if I had to guess, the USB Charger is used for charging. Just a hunch, though. After more research it is indeed the charger port. These look like a great set. Omidirectional Noise cancellation is another greats selling point. |

-> bought this as a great bang for the buck ->very similar to the one suggested by chribba, main difference is this one is not a wireless one ->great sound (i mean really great), also great mic, by far the best headset i had so far
I like the price point on this one but the noise cancellation is supposed to be better on the 2000. That is a big selling point for me as I am always told i have lots of back ground noise on comms. I am glad to see more Headsets though helps to zero on the perfect one to fit my needs. |

I have had several -ú100+ headsets, ranging from Razer to Logitech, yet nothing compares to my current Sneisenner or however the **** you spell it headset and a -ú20 desktop microphone, clarity and qaulity not made of cheap Chinese manufactured plastic that snaps when you drop it, or breaks when it inevitably gets caught around the wheels of death.
I do love Sennhieser also I had a very nice set of headphones a few years back. I think expanding the discussion to Microphone options as well sounds like a good idea. Back to the original post I do require noise canalization due to the excessive fans in my house. |

When looking for headphones, use a heavy bass and high pitch rich dubstep (although i dont like dubstep) in the store to determine good / bad. When searching for mine, I had in the store Denon, Sennheiser, AKG and some other headphone stands. With some MT Eden and other dubstep songs to test, Denon beat every other heaphone by many miles in similar price range (and yes, including Sennheiser). I have had Sennheisers in the past, they were OK but Denon is just better at reproducing all kinds of sounds from speech to classical music. Have had these Denons that cost around 100 eur for 2 years now, one of the best peripherial purchases ive made in my life. Denons appear to have great quality but also at a significant price. |
