I love conspiricy theories!
I was going to write a good long reply, but in dooing so I realized that it would just intensify both sides negative feelings.
I don't want to drag anyone through the mud. No one deserve that, except maybe foomanshoe. His attitude convinced me that the decesion I made for my corp was best.
SJ Talsar was my friend and a good guy.
Those in XF leadership at the time of most of what is being discussed here happened were (SJ Talsar, Olyyy, Cyvok, Conram, Primer X, Larno, M'buku & HC Massie) you cannot blame any one of us for the events, you need to balme us all. The only thing you can accuse of us really, is for making the best choices we could for Xetic's Future.
As for recent events, it wasn't exactly planed. It all happened in a space of about 4 hours, totally based on a great many things just comming together at the right moment in time.
I never wanted to see XF fall. I would have loved to look back 6 months down the road and see XF still the #1 allinace in the game dispite its enemies claims to the contray. Unfortunatly the vast majority of XF's membership just didn't care enough to make it a reality. They just wanted a free mining pass with no hardships to worry about.
I would ask this of EVERYONE involved:
Whipe your slates clean, ditch your grudges and lets start over on a new page in EvE history.
When it comes down to it, we are all here to have a good time, spending 10's of hours of my online time in meetings where I am told how horriable I am, how my corp dosen't do enough for an allaince, and why I need to "vote" in favor of someones elses objective was simply not fun.
EvE has changed over the last 6 months, especially in 0.0. The sooner everyone realizes that the better. Political borders and diplomacy are almost meaningless, the best diplomacy in 0.0 is mutual respect. That respect comes out of the barrel of a gun. I may not agree with the fact that things need to be that way, but they are and I have accepted it.
The days of care free mining are over, if you are going to claim space you need to be prepared to loose EVERYTHING to keep it your space. If your going to mine in 0.0 you better know how to defend yourself. If your not willing to make that comittment, your in the wrong part of the universe.
....and for the record, I think it was Foyle in the kitchen with the cookie dough!
