For confirming that not even the devs don't know what to do with Black Ops, as demonstrated in the new Retribution trailer.
As far as I know, Black Ops can't jump through their own portals.

Micro jump only allows you to jump 100km.

I'm not sure but I don't think the fuel for the portal is taken from the bay, I believe that comes from cargo. The fuel bay is for the ship's own jump drive.

Misleading though, even if they wanted to add bells and whistles to that trailer.
I am not saying that Black Ops are piles of **** (except the Sin which is a pile of ****) but they are not as good as they could've been if they had been given a larger fuel bay.

I fly the sin *z-snap* And in our fleets it's arguably the best blops. Each blops have a role. and not to sound condescending but i think 90% of people don't understand how to use the blops bs's properly, although i agree that it could use some tweaking here and there to give it a more combat orientated role, and perhaps another hull designed o bridge, but thats for another thread.
Pro-tip, don't try to make the sin do dps other than drone damage, and the sin is fantastic. |

The widow does more potential dps than a redeemer, plus epic jams. but yea basically. |

Bridging uses fuel from the bay same as jumping, the fuel bay is fine though since it got fixed long ago. It is the jump range that currently nerfs blops, that and the fact they are very expensive for less than t1 bs combat ability. Still for their main role of dropping bombers on people they are awesome.
