...Go belt-hunting in 0.0. I used to do this, before 'Inodus' went live and caused everyone like me to run back to Empire. It does looks like my only option though, short of stopping my participation. Thing is though, with the missile changes as currently proposed, I seriously wonder if I could fight a typical 0.0 belt spawn: ~1m BS, a handful of ~100k cruisers, and a handful of webbing interceptors will probably take down a solo Raven... What am I meant to do - wait a month or two before becoming a poor (insert other race here) BS pilot?
I hate to say this, but it's looking grim for the future of EVE... If Oveur's comments about the 'vision' of EVE hold true, then essentially I have been playing the wrong game, and should go elsewhere. I wish it weren't so...
You must have been in a completely different dev chat than me
Oveur said noting against running level 4 missions in secure Empire space. All he said is that you might need a buddy or two for the toughest ones. I know you like to solo, I like it too, but are you really that much of a loner and social reject that it's completely impossible and unthinkable for you to find a few friends for mission running? Especially, since everyone else will be in the same boat and needs to find team mates too.
The devs didn't say anything like "We want every single player to move to 0.0". All they said was that they want more players to go to 0.0 than there are right now, because, honestly, 0.0 is a desert wasteland atm
And most of these changes are a loooong way from making it to the live servers. Keep your tears until then, else you'll be completely dried up at the time when you really need to whine
