Curious about this, and bored at work.. hopefully CCP will comment.
How does CONCORD work? Does the game treat them as an actual ship with fittings and ammo etc? Can you share the stats of any of these weapons?
I'm aware that there is a mechanic whereby if you tank them for long enough the battleship variant will one-shot you for HP-you-have-left - was there any specific reason why this was added?
Is there any plans to develop CONCORD into a more immersive entity? For example, if there are several transgressors on grid why don't they cyno in a CONCORD Dreadnaught or something to respond to a heightened threat instead of blobbing with 4 x however many criminals there are?
Why isn't there any audio chatter from CONCORD when they're on grid? Local chat flavour text?

I would also love for there to be more immersion towards ConCorde. I also think players should be able to join that "police" force and earn money for flying for them patrolling etc.
I think CCP should design 1 big patch to create more of story for Concorde. |

I can only answer that NPC ships are not treated as normal ships. They have coded in stats and drop tables. Community Representative GÇ+ EVE Illuminati GÇ+ Fiction Adept

Given that dreads are terrible at shooting sub caps, and only sub caps can get concorded, concord dreads make no sense.

No, not an patch entierly around concord. but as part of a patch it's a maybe. Plus there is stuf to be found on the wiki. This is where i put my signature, wright? |

CONCORD Dreads don't have to play by any rules. The existing "ships" don't, they have infinite tracking, etc. Don't assume that because player Dreads have to siege and can't hit small stuff that CONCORD would have to adhere to the same rules.
My point re: a CONCORD Dread was mainly because it would be a sight to behold for new players and people who haven't ventured into lowsec yet. Seeing a cyno open up and CONCORD appearing, and the sheer size of a Dread, would be just... nice. |
