I don't know why you are either when there are so many broken things in this patch. Including but not limited to:
Terrible targeting UI
Chat lag
Bugs in links applying to cap RR"s
POCO issues
WH effect issues
etc....
Hate me if you want for not appreciating what you did, but frankly nothing in this patch is exciting to me, and a large number of the things I deal with in the game are literally broken or lame to use right now. |

It's a great new bounty system but the placing it on any one for no reason is kind of "meh"
I would prefer a system were the person has to have committed some kind of a grievance against you.
Now I understand why CCP have done it this way, say I get scammed and I want the scammer hurt I can bounty him for it.
It's really a shame that the organizations in EVE which attempt to act as anti-pirate or NRDS still fly around with giant "WANTED" signs on them though.
There are ways that you can say the pirates are placing bounties on you because of your work but it still seems like you will be seeing more players with bounties on them than not after a month or two.

I have a bounty. I've never had a bounty before. I've never antagonized or attacked anyone before. I get that bad stuff happens, but one thing that drew me to EVE was that we could pursue anything. From mining and industry, exploration, to combat and PVP. Now, making an innocuous comment about the update in a public corp channel, I'm involuntarily drawn into pvp because a random a$$hat is feeling funny and Navin Johnsoned me for being there. I'm perfectly content minding my own business in a quiet corner of space, the new bounty system is pissing all over my much cherished Gallente freedom. Finding pvp in EVE never seemed difficult, but now the choice seems sadly removed. |
