We took our losses, which included my own BS, but when the explosions stopped near the gate in JKJ-VJ, the Titan was free and it jumped out.
Well considering that of the 150+ ships you went upp against a minimum of 130 didnt know you were the enemy untill you opened upp on them.
The attack on the titan was a mess, lots and lots of people with little or no coordination and you blended in perfectly probably picking your targets and destroying them at your leasure. The few times I expect that you took any fire would be when your target turned out to be part of a larger strikeforce running TS or some other internal comunication.
In a battle like that you should have killed atleast 50 times your own numbers and if you were smart you would have split upp your forces in small strike teams of 3-4 BS'sbacked upp by a few friggs going after a single target, leader picks the target, team hits it with full force and the target is gone in seconds.
Any chatter about your alliance with the titan could easily be garbled with disinformation about other corps being allied with the titan and claims that its a lie you are hunting players.
I do however salute what you did, it did take guts and hopefully it will teach all of us somthing about the game and large 0.0 events in particular.
When the next such event arrives I hope the devs have deviced a way for the 3 PC sides can show their allegiance.
Team A: trying to prevent the event. Team B: Trying to assist the event. Neutrals: just passing through, trying to scavange, senselessly killing, observing... basicly oponents to both event sides.
Once you have joined Team A or B you should be forced to stay loyal to your team (ie not shoot team members) or end upp in Team C, team C would be neutrals but unable to join team A or B.
If somthing like this is in place then the two sides will be able to identify each other (and all neutrals) and the fight would be fair.
The devs should easilly be able to create a bot NPC that you can claim your allegiance to from anywhere in the universe... would actually be alot of fun as people all over eve would claim allegiance and fights would break out all over when the two sides run into each other.
