This is something which happened over a week ago.
We did not post it at the time but instead flagged it up to Shinra Directors as we wished Shinra to take some action over it.
However as far as we know no action has been taken - which is a shame! I have the utmost respect for the majority of Shinra Directors and Shinra pilots and their fighting capabilities - yet the actions of a few bad eggs can ruin the reputation of even the best corporations.
While no corporation can fully monitor or control all the actions of its members all the time (and as a CEO I know that only too well) it should be seen to take action when its members clearly step over the line deemed respectable behaviour.
I am attaching here a short FRAPS video (1.23 min) of an engagement with a Shinra member in R3-K7K. The video (and accompanying ventrilo commentary speaks for itself). The Shinra member had attacked a lone PIE BS in R3-K7K but did not know that two PIE cruisers were ready next door to lend aid.
The Video
Shinra - I apologise if you have taken action against this logger and simply forgot to inform us of it.
If that is the case then I shall remove this post and the video file...
If you haven't taken any action, or do not intend to, then it would be nice if you publicly state that. Then your corporation's position on 'loggers' will be perfectly clear and no one can accuse you of being hypocrites.
I am happy to say that this incident had a happy outcome. The 'logger' was caught and brought to justice by PIE the next day - karma if you will. Picture
Soz Hardin, never got through to me, of course we respect PIE and your members and as such this will not be tolerated. I am now looking into this personally.
On the other hand Shin Ra I could not give a rats arse about you or your crusade, go fan boy some one else you'll never get any respect fitting the "soft setups" or trolling the forums. Whatch this space for how quickly action is taken for people we actually respect.
