We all know there's a minimum on mineral prices. But there are also some fundamental maximum. To illustrate..
Shuttles have a base price of 9000ISK from NPC vendors. In the event that someone wants to pay more than 3.6 ISK for tritanium, the 2500 you get from shuttles could be refined infinitley and thus you could make a profit out of nothing.
What are some other fundamental roofs for other minerals?

True, you could figure the maximum cost of Nocx by looking at tech 1 crystals since thats all they use.
ECCM's use only Trit & Pyer so you could find the maximum price of Pyer by using the 3.6 for the trit.
Defender Missiles or Ship scanners use only Trit & Mex so the max price of Mex can be determined.
Med Shield Boosters might be best for Iso, they take Pyer, Mex & Iso.

It's not that easy th ough, as some modules sold by NPC's will have a higher mineral/ISK ratio. So one can't be *THE* benchmark.

Basic overdrives set a hard cap on megacyte at around 22500 per..
Been a long time since it was that high though.

These restrictions only apply to empire space. Some may be willing to pay more than 3.6 for trit if delivery is included

Erm, I was under the impression that NPC prices increased if there was a lot purchased from the NPC order. Of course, most things don't have the sort of demand to make the price shift much. But if you start buying up shuttles to fill trit demand, that's going to be a lot of shuttles.
Besides, that price cap still only applies in a few locations - stations with 50% refineries and the relevant NPC sell order. Anywhere else, the price can go higher because of hauling time.
