Where?
If I catch you in 0.0 in our warzone, then I'll kill you. This is the nature of the game (I cannot tell if you are an enemy, an alt scout or really a newb, and I can't take chances). Outside that, shrug, as long as you don't provoke me why WOULD I shoot you?
(And if you don't know how to find out where we're fighting (it's NOT hard...) then perhaps you're not ready for 0.0)

That about sums it up for me, sadly i specialised in science initially so am only just becoming hard after a years gametime, you can still have fun in frigates tho, and if going into 0.0 normally its best to have a fast quick ship so you can run away lots, or have a few of you ganged as Pirates are less likely to give you a kicking then unless they have bigger numbers.

We've had pilots from legitimate otherwise non-hostile corporations open up on us in 0.0 with their only explanation being 'it's 0.0', like it's a 'must shoot' zone.

You win some you loose some.
Ignore what he was typing in local, basically it was a distraction to get you worked up about it and loose concentration to what actually was going on.
0.0 is lawless as said to some extent. Say an allaince is like a mob, gang,or drug dealer they will defend there territory. If you where in someones area that they claimed they will kill you or ask you to leave (depending of how nice they where). Either way you can die as you look at it. 0.0 is the bad spot in a city at night where you want to carry a massive gun all the time and you don't trust anyone but your friends.
With future patches it sounds like 0.0 could become a mini empire with possible police forces from dev chats i've read. Sentry guns, police possibley.
Either way you look at it, some 0.0 is free space (very small portion) and people will help you settle into. Some 0.0 really is a toss up of who really owns it or guards it. Then the rest the vast majority of 0.0 is alliances that heavly police the area. If your in a n00b corp most of the time its a Kill On Sight deal (because of spys). If your in a neutral corp it can be Kill On Sight or Removal of you asap from there space.
The guy did what he did for a reason, theres always a reason why you do something. Either way you look at it, you've learned a lesson, watch out, might of been a cheap one or an expensive one but you learned one never the less. --------------------------------------------------- Ummm ya.... |

*sighs*
So this player thinks he found a reason why Exodus has failed, and that reason is that going to 0.0 is dangerous? Wow. I'm overfrackingwhelmed.
Last time I went to 0.0, I remember seeing plenty of people there.

Start at the top of this thread again and re-read it. I was killed simply "because". Not because of loot, not because of money, simply because I was there, and he could.
I know every person i have killed payed off one way or another, and I am sure all those that have killed me say it was well worth it as well.

Like you'll see new players taking a look in 0.0 in titans and dreadnoughts.
Good luck with waiting for that to happen.
Chokepoints will go away, to some extent, soon _______________________________________________
