Word up CCP!
I along with 99% of all the other eve players would like to award you with the most ultimate in MMO awards, forget those awards from the magazine companies there worthless compaired to this.
I award CCP with the offical Blydchyld award of Thanks and heres too another 2 years of the most badass game on the planet!

Then CCP need to either fix lag or reinburse for their server lag, afaik.
Among other things.
Rational policys will prevent anger.

if the by so many as "whine" posts declared additions are constructive the author simply intends helping to improve the game.
non constructive rants though should be punished more severly imho since they on the one hand spoil constructive threads (i know what i'm talking about...) and on the other hnd constructive posts should get more active attention from com. watch....
just my opinion though... who wants constructivity in the official forums anyway?

A few people are never happy unlless they complain and say things like "this HAS to be fixed NOW and I DEMAND a refund and a free million SP and a free titan for my hassle"
Most of us prefer to get on with playing the game

I agree 80%.
Another 10% of me goes to great lengths to influence the priority in which CCP adresses stuff.
The last 10% posts just to make sure there's some counterweight to the rampant destructive whinage.

I'm all in on this one, CCP does an excellent job, better then any i've experienced :)
And they feel more part of the community itself then any other dev-team ever, which is - along with all the dedication from them - a huge plus :)

I agreee, The devs are great. They really need some lubing now in this hard server-times!

I agree, CCP is a great company running a great game. But when problems arise it helps everyone chill if they give us updates as to what is going on. We definately don't need deadlines or promises (deadlines missed just adds to the problem), just confirmation that they're looking at it, they have an idea what's going on and they're trying to fix it as completely and quickly as possible. Its the silence which drives everyone mad.

I Kinda get what you're saying in that the silence can be a little frustrating. "are they really aware of the problem" thoughts pass through everyones mind from time to time.
TBH the posts going "Ohnoes the server fell over and stuffed up my three BS chain" turn up so quick that we can take it for granted they know and therefore can safely assume they are trying to fix it.
Anyway. Great job CCP and looking forwward to more stuff to improve this already great game.

I don't have any problem with someone starting a topic pointing out something that CCP are doing wrong.
What I do have a problem with are the 7 pages of 'me2 FFS OMG' posts that follow. What's the point?
Only thing worse are the 4 or 5 'me2 FFS omg' threads that pop up too.

As far as I am concerned the only reason we would have to complain about anything being fixed is if they were to just stop fixing things. As long as they are working on improving something, I don't care what that something is. They created the game. They know the weak points better than us and have a better idea than us of what needs to be done, and in what order.

CCP in many past cases don't have a history of noting the problem and it just not being a priority fix, they have a history of not knowing the bug existed and not doing anything about it.
I'd love it if people could come to these forums and never complain about anything and post constructively all the time.
But then I'd love it if after 2 years CCP could also release 1 patch that wasn't bugged or broken or if they responded better and quicker to bug reports, but they don't do that either.
There will always be better ways of expressing a point of view, but in many cases that doesn't deny the issues people raise.
True, there are immense levels of whines and complaints that result from people being misinformed or direct clashes of viewpoint, and those we could do without, but it's not all roses either.
