I was willing to invest in the Phaser Inc. corp when it was running. Many pilots will remember that fiasco. I was lucky to escape with most of my investment before they booked it. I saw Ash Holloway advertising for a similar corporation in local and wanted to determine if they were doing the same thing so I convo'd him. Keep in mind that if he was able to keep my interest i would have been willing to part with billions. Here is my convo verbatim. I see, typically I prove the existence of assets/isk by showing/modifying buy and sell orders while speaking to a potential client over convo. This is what I was trying to do with the original poster. I admit I was a bit harsh, but I'm tired of all the negativity.

The margin made on my most prized gem has remained about the same for about a year now. 250-350% profit and next to no competition, that is a gem. 2. Dominate may be too strong of a word, but time will tell. What i meant to say is that we will have a significant influence on the sales of select high profile items. it may seem impossible, but someday you will remember this thread and know what I mean. NETG is made up of close real life friends, so we delegate the work load to insure consistency and prevent burn out. 3. I talk to people who insult me like they are nothing, because they are. You are taking the use of "wealthy" out of context. I mentioned being wealthy because IGÇÖm trying to make the point that I don't need to scam players because I have enough isk. I'm not trying to brag. What we donGÇÖt have is a community wide identity, that is the goal. Someday we will be the largest trade group in EVE. Haha thanks for the entertaining read. Perhaps we use too strong of words when describing our goal. A softer statement would be that we will have a large footprint in the market. As far as market gems, or niches, or what ever you want to call them, you are foolish if you think there are not items in game that few trade because the value isnt so obvious. If it does burn, its going to be slow and drawn out.

No, he's exactly right. They raise capital until their projected returns on that additional capital no longer outweigh the cost of acquiring it. The selection of issuing bonds or creating additional shares comes down to local regulatory and tax treatment of different investment vehicles.

As long as you are polite and professional, you will maintain the upper hand in any situation. Honestly, I think your biggest concern for investment right now should be a representative. Someone to keep to the plan and represent your company face with dignity and integrity. I think this entire post just sheds negative light on yourselves. Whether or not you are scamming, this post only shows negative on your behalf. Honestly, if I were your corp leader, I would return all investments(to show good faith) and start a new corporation(let the former investors know in case they would like to return) and maybe take out your very conquistador-esque mission plan.
