Can someone from CCP or CSM actually react and respond as to whether this is bug / stealth nerf (and why the **** o.0)? Or should we start spamming bug reports? |

Wow those killboards are so important, aren't they?
I wonder if this is a test. |

Just file a bug report or petition for the question whether it's intended or not.
Also compare this to the normal interdictors. Are they able to launch their bubble? ECM bursts? anymore AoE mods? If one of those can launch in that delay, there's something incosistent going on and something needs to be fixed.
Yes, bug reports are the official way to get stuff fixed and they're processed. However to have bugs actually fixed, well.... you can wait months, and even years on that. Not sure if they still (onlt) have bug hunters volunteers to process the bug reports or actually paying people to go through the reports. In any case it does seem a waste of time and money.
Only way to get stuff fixed is to have multiple people file bug reports or direct dev contact. Nothing else seem to work. |

They do need to make a call for consistency sake.
Does the de-cloaking delay affect all module use while in effect? Does the de-cloaking delay only affect targeting while in effect?
For game balance purposes they could always make exceptions to either rule (best to be made in the players favor) and with clear sensible reasons why... but the "general rule" needs to be defined again as those exceptions seem to be shifting back and forth. To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

I outlined the inconsistencies between HICs and dictors in my apparently hard to read post on the first page. All I ask for is some consistency or at the very least include all changes to game mechanics in the patch notes. If a dictor can uncloak and launch a bubble then a HIC should be able to uncloak and activate it's bubble. If a HIC can throw bubble on one side of a wormhole then jump through and immediately throw it on the other side, a dictor should be able to do so as well. CCP has basically gimped single bubble fits for dictors while at the same time making dictors the only way to bubble trap people in w-space without prematurely alerting the enemy of your presence. |

Quote:12. Spamming, bumping and pyramid quoting are prohibited. Spam is defined as the repetitive posting of the same topic or text or nonsensical posts that have no substance and are often designed to annoy other forum users. This includes GÇ£firstGÇ¥ and GÇ£go back to [another game]GÇ¥ posts. Bumping posts in order to keep them near the top of the list is also prohibited. Petitions or "/signed" posts are a version of bumping and likewise are not permitted. Pyramid quoting is a response to a forum thread that contains the quotes of four or more previous posters, sometimes with additional spaces added unnecessarily. Posts of this nature are not conducive to community spirit and are unwelcome. 13. Do not post about bugs and exploits. Bugs and exploits should be reported through the proper method by filing a report for our Quality Assurance department. You can find the form here. Discussions about unverified problems in the game can cause unnecessary panic in the community. When there is an issue the community needs to be aware of, we will make an official statement about it. 20. Post constructively. Negative feedback can be very useful, provided that it is presented in a civil, factual manner. Tell us what you don't like and why and how you feel it could be improved. Posts that are not constructive, insulting or rude may be deleted, no matter how valid the ideas behind them may be.
Please use the proper venues for reporting bugs. Thread locked. ISD LackOfFaith Lieutenant Community Communication Liaisons (CCLs) Interstellar Services Department |
