There player driven & who would choose who could & couldnt run 1 ?.
I see big have a sticky thats a seriour advantage over others ? & the same post is also floating free.

BIG has a sticky because they have been doing lotteries since early 2004 I believe. They are the oldest lottery still running, and probably the first..
They was the first lottery that I seen way back when.
I will agree... seems like everyone is doing lotteries not, and theres no way to tell whos a scam artist and whos not.

I'm doing my lottery to try to bring some more fun into the galaxy, why shouldn't I do so? I'm not forcing anyone to participate?
But its no problem really. If people don't like it I'll just stop

More lotteries are good thing, even for BIG! As more people start running successful lotteries, the more innovation and quality is developed. It also gives the players more chances to win, and more chances to have fun. Compeition is a very good thing, especially in a place with so many creative and smart people like EVE.
Personally I hope these new lotteries continue to grow and thrive, they provide lots of motivation for TS to get off his arse and force people to think for him

They have a sticky because it's their 2 year anniversay, in those 2 years they have had 2 threads stickied I believe.

I didn't mean to step on toes, but as I expressed to Xinity, my problem is how all these lotteries claim to be new and fresh but in actuallity, have the same rules, same prizes, and even all use the same GOOGLED random number generator.
If you're going to start something that someone else is already doing very well, at least make yours a bit more original and interesting.
Now I actually like Xinity's idea of making a lottery prize of a battleship/module because isk has become much like the russian ruble. A battleship has much more use then an isk prize.
I also must confess, that another part of the reason to make this post was to show off my awesomely funny and cool new sig :)
