FYI, Sunderland etc isn't North-east UK - it's North-east England... if you want to go to the 'real' North-east you need to be at least north of Dundee

Oh hell..... some of you are from the Boro and know I am lying through my back teeth..  
Just off Parliament Road Middlesbrough here,
(but I drink in the Navi...  so not all bad  )

Newcastle, did anyone have a meet btw - if not or maybe again I would suggest a meet in newcastle but I would steer clear of the city centre at the weekend. I would suggest somewhere on the metro network so people don't need to drive etc. How about a pub in maybe wallsend/gateshead......

live just outside Ferryhill in Co. Durham, work in Seaham,,
lots of top class blokes in our area in EVE, we got another couple of northern scummers in our corp also, 1 from the boro and another from newcastle..

Okay û perhaps you guys need to draw a line in the North East ;) S****horpe isnÆt really close to Sunderland and Leeds is not near Ashingtonà
York probably sits in between everything ... half way up and half way down this huge expanse your all claiming as the North East? Easy transport, lots of pubs and places to stay (?)

But if there are drinks in Newcastle (please not GÆhead or Wallsend they are more ælocal pubs for local peopleÆ) û try not to make it a School night and IÆll do my best to be there û may also be able to make Scunny but not much to do out there lol and on principle would rather not be in Leeds (sorry peeps)

Hello to all fellow northeasteners
Its cool to see a good number of people pplaying EVE that live in the area. I myself grew up in Billingham but currently live in Newcastle.
A meet sounds a good idea and I'm all for that. Has anyone organised anything yet??
If not, then I'll just dive in and say "Saturday 27th February, 2pm at the Centurion, Central Station, Newcastle" Ideally placed for anyone who wants to get the train/metro in as well.

No Longer lying about the green and rural bit ( well semi rural)
Having just bought a house in Lazenby just outside the Boro-
Good bye Boro town centre- hello trees and other green things
Can still be found propping up the bar in the Navigation Inn under the shadow of the Riverside stadium, but for added value will probably be spotted in the Nags Head and the Half Moon in Lazenby now too
