Gyles	Posted - 2005.05.18 19:31:00 - [1] Hi, I was bored the other day... extremely bored and was shooting at my own drones. Items needed: 1 Raven, 1 light scout drone (fastest one) lots of different color torpedos! What to do...1. Launch and taget your drone (only have one out), set it to orbit. Sit back and lob your torps at it. Your torps keep chasing it but will never catch it. after about 9 salvos you have one friggen MASSIVE ball of torpedes. Then scoop your drone and all the torps go in different directions. Cool thing to do if your bored. Im sure its not new, but until i did it the other day, i'd never seen anyone try it before. BTW.. its an expensive for of recreation. Ill post a screen shot soon.

So Eris did you find out a definite about that. It's not my fault if people do not know how to read their overview or even use thier overview when traveling through safe space. Email me if you need to keep it out of forums. I've never done it myself ....... yet. Everyone knows concord will pawn whoever shoots first. Should make sure your being hit first before shooting back at anyone in safe space. If it's an exploit then it should be changed, and I might add quickly. As it stands now....... there is no crime against locking multiple targets. Last I knew you can lock any target anyplace in eve without repercussion. Last I knew you could corp spar in sentry gun range. Questionable, definitely. Wrong to do, possibly .... barderline mean even, very much so. Unethical without a doubt. totally within current game mechanics. appears to be. Didn't think using the game mechanics exactly as they are implemented to be an exploit. It's been that way since corp mate dualing has been implemented, only seeing the flaw in that now. Regardless let me know as I am very very curious myself and known it to occur on regular basis and I'm sure more than a few petitions have probably been filed on it saying concord attacked the wrong people but logs will show they attacked first. Might want to think about removing corp mate duals from within sentry gun range in one the near patches.

Make sure you are being shot before shooting back at anyone in empire. Just locking people is not an offense. And just cuz they have you locked does not mean they are shooting you. Make sure to learn how to read your overview to distinguish what the difference is. yellow orange red. three colors means three different things. simple solution tho and many won't like it ........... Keep everything the way it is EXCEPT. Locking of non corp members ships of any kind in any space is a flagable offense. Except for ONLY being concealable by the use of a passive targeter and no flag issued for passive target locks. UNTIL a shot is fired at or any other act of aggression to the passive locked individual.

I think it involves tricking someone into getting concordokken'd. Don't really see how it is an exploit, but I won't say more. I mean I understand that there might be an exploit in getting an NPC BS to shoot all its torps at your Warrior drone and completetly ignore you, maybe making it possible to beat up CONCORD (do they use torpedoes?) but X'Alor seems to be discussing some kind of exploit involving getting people to trigger CONCORD into attacking by accident... Is he talking about targeting someone, then doing the torps-orbit-drone thing, then making the drone get near the person so they think the torps are headed towards them? Placer C thinks Player A is firing on him and shoots, he gets concordokken...(like yeah right?!?) How is this an exploit?
