Due to the recent aggression against our PF-346 POS by a supposedly friendly corporation, N.A.G.A Corporation sees itself forced to up the defensive state of all its POSs.
We are also advising these new measures to all our POS Partners throughout the EVE Galaxy.
We advice all pilots (including friends & allies) to stay away from all N.A.G.A & N.A.G.A Partner POS Bubbles. You WILL be shot. People who have been using our free "POS ProtectionÖ" are also adviced to stay away from our POS Bubbles. They WILL shoot at everybody.
We will not reimburse any losses incurred due to unprovoked attacks. We regret this decision but see no other options. --

Edited by: Emmerich Steiner on 18/05/2005 20:28:49 this should be the standard policy of all corps who have POS's, they should set everyone not in corp to be fired upon. POS's are too damn expensive to allow people to fly about them "unsupervised".

Im surprised you didnt have this policy in effect sooner. Its the only way to guarantee 100% security. Sooner or later something like this was going to happen seeing as NAGA is a high profile industrial corp.

Sad that you can no longer give people protection and that NAGA accually got attacked, but well atleast we all know 1 POS is not so much loss for an industrialist giant like NAGA :). GL with your POS protections, may your POSes go unharmed ------------------------- These are my views and don't necessarily represent my corp nor my alliance. |

Well I am shocked. Someone attacked your POS in "Imperium Space" ?
I think you should be the one apologizing to Imperium not the other way around.
Teddybears and Tundragon Earn the right to fly in Imperium space by Backing up their passage with firepower.
Even though we are Enemies I respect them and they have MORE RIGHT then you do to be in PF.
Next Time try securing permission to put your POS in someone elses Claimed Territory.

PF-346 isn't claimed by anyone, its a choke point into 0.0, its like saying CELES claim HED-GP.

There is no marker in that space stating it is urs ? This POS has been in PF-346 since the first 2 weeks of POS availability (~6 months). It has survived several key power changes in the JQA Area. It is still there and it will stay there.
We see no need to apologize AND we see no need for TunDragon to apologize, we were both playing the game and doing our ingame jobs, while having fun at it might I add.
Please mate, we are not seeking a fight here afaik. We just logically concluded it would be safer for us to defend our POSs better in the future :) --

Look dude, shooting everyone you see in PF is a normal thing. People expect it. Pretending like you give two ****s about the system otherwise makes you look dumb, because no explainations are necessary. _____________________________________ Perpetually driven, your end is our beginning. I jsut want to state that I have the highest repsect for Naga AND ALL THE GREAT THINGS THEY HAVE ACCOMPLISHED IN THIS GAME
But dont you think it would have been Classier/Diplomatic to just let the Ruling Powers in that area know you wanted to run a POS there. Im sure something could have been worked out Diplomatically (At least from Imperium forces)
Thats all I was trying to state.
I apologize if you think I was flaming you I wasnt.
If I was putting up a POs in Any other alliances space I would first try to secure permission to do so.

Answer: No, since you were not even there back then.
As far as I'm concerned, PF is claimed by noone, but you are the ones who stated first that PF is Imperium space. And well...if it's your space, why don't you lock it down better? Or even try and forcibly remove the NAGA POS (you already tried that now)? This POS will most likely outlive Imperium.

Hey Skelator,
Thanks for the respect you have for our work. But as you¦ve seen , also TunDraGon and many other corporations share this respect and don¦t see any reason why they shouldn¦t attack us anyway . As long you don¦t have the corporations roaming "your" space under control and you don¦t have an official political agenda the community can accept ,and the necessary juristiction in place to enforce the "law", i don¦t see any basis for diplomatic negotiations. As long you just occupy an area of space there is little to nothing we could actually base negotiations on. Of course, if you could guarantee protection of our investments in your occupied area , we would be very interrested . But i pretty much doubt that and as long as the situation in Syndicate and especially PF-346 doesn¦t change we will treat it like any other choke-point where everybody get shot at. Change that , and maybe not only us , but also others may find it much more attractive to take your claim of Syndicate seriously.
Kind Regards LB

Edited by: Lifewire on 18/05/2005 22:41:50 Who ever claims Syndicate...we are here much longer than Imps or NAGA. Building up a POS in PF-346, directly in our hunting grounds shows low respect for our profession. But have it offline is like a war declaration to us. Can¦t you imagine that this is simply impossible for a true pirate to not rob an offline NAGA station? It can be compared to send Carebears into a 1.0 belt and expect them not to mine!!!
NAGA did show low respect building this POS in PF-346 and even lower respect having it offline. At least have it online if you put it in front of our noses! Or ***POS inssure TM*** it. However, if we see it offline again we will rob it again. So better go mining and bring fuel. gogogo

You can rob it any time you see fit Lifewire. But sorry, respect has nothing to do with it. You¦re doing your business and we¦re doing ours and that¦s it. And we¦re not actually seeking your respect for that matter.

Oh, i really like the cool way NAGA does replace such a loss absolutly calm and calculating. I could post hatemails of totally uncool people here that show how respectfull NAGA pilots are able to suffer.
But building a POS in the deadliest system of the galaxy dierectly in front of 3 local pirate corps and have it offline is simply showing low respect for our destructive profession. NAGA is a well-known and rich industrial corporation. Not attack NAGA would simply be bad roleplaying. We want indutrial corps in 0.0 and NAGA did its first steps (1 jump) into 0.0. Congratulations.

That¦s exactly the reason we placed it there Lifewire. We¦re not only exel sheets and calculators . This is a game and we want our share of the fun as well. And how i told you earlier - this has nothing to do with respect . We simply forgot to refuel it in time - we have lots of other POS to care about as well and .... **** happens So yeah, you have all the respect we have to offer for a pirate corp.

Isn't N.A.G.A. setting their POS to 'agressive' just the perfect business move? Imagine all the people dying because in 0.0 they are still warping to moons whenever they are running (bad move!). Think of all the T2 equipment they can replace
These POS are everywhere though. In some 0.0 systems it has become more dangerous to randomly warp to moons in order to escape then just turn go back to the bloody gate!
