In fact, the group of people it was tested 'against' were a bunch of advertising executives, the very group you'd expect to be most aware and immune to the effects subliminal advertising. After being locked away for two hours they revealed their final advertising campaign, and to their utter amazement everything they had 'thought-up' had been subliminally suggested to them before they were locked away. In fact the subliminal advertising only took place during the five minute drive from the tv production studio to the office where they were locked away. And all the subliminal ads were out on the street in public places. But the question here is, which is more powerful? 'What you think?' or 'What you do?'
