Well, most of my experience with FIX comes from the old SE/FIX War. At that time S3VYN was your leader/spokesman. He was very passive and you guys took up a deffensive stance in one system. Your strategy was to win by not fighting, by holding up in one place with massive numbers. This is not PvP.
Now, I have to give you guys small props for actually conquesting and going after Catch. But still, your strategy is to maintain unfightable numbers. You guys took FAT-6P with 150 ships. We couldn't have stopped you if we had every PvPer from the entire "coalition" on at one time.
I went to FAT-6P the other night in a 20 man task force. There were 51 in local when we arrived and 64 when I left. Despite the odds we began shooting the station in attempt to ellicit a response. About 10 FIX BS warped in 80km away from us. They used BE/Hit-and-run type tactics and actually managed to instakill one of our untanked BS, and then warped out one by one as they were targetted while each of the remaining ships focused their fire on my Apoc (I got out). If you want to call that PvP, by all means, go ahead. I call it annoying.
But I guess this is what PvP has de-evolved to in Eve. In which case you guys are deffinately PvPers and I am most certainly not, thank-you-very-much.
Well, disciplined fleet combat is to ganking as organised warfare is to a pub brawl. What you define as PvP is your own business, and you're welcome to it. I won't insult your style of play or your abilities too harshly, and you can respect mine as much or as little as you want. But before you laugh at my alliance's PvP, here's a few exercises you can try so that you can at least say you're better at it than we are. (That'll be important to your self-respect, given that you believe we suck at PvP)
1. Take back your station. I know we took back 9cg from the entire Stain Empire at the height of its power within 4 hours, without asking the whole galaxy for help, so a few days should be possible for you even if you're a little slow.
2. Hold your space and your stations against overwhelming odds. Like we did against BoB, SE (including you lot) and Shinra with 3 empire wars running at the same time. Oh... they weren't just griefers either, one of those empire wars was against ATUK and another was against Red Alliance.
3. Win the respect of your enemies...
