Geez...This just goes to show that name branding really works. Maybe EvE just needed "Star Trek" or "Planet of the apes" imbedded in the name. *HURL* |

well duh, star wars has been around a while, the movies, the books, the games, ect ect ect.
Only thing is the SWG game sucks soo bad right now its not funny.
from being in beta scince beta 1 I have seen alot of **** go on in SWG< and I'll tell ya, until they fix alot of stoof in that game , the name is ALL they have going for it.

SWG sucks. REALLY SUCKS. Don't get me started on SWG, just Dont. :)

I tend to agree with Aerik here. If you have done any reserach on SWG as a functional game you will see that its not all roses, rainbows and developers walking through the tulips.
I considered leaving EVE to venture elsewhere but did my research first. SWG has their fair share of problems. Take a look at their forums and you'll see what I mean.

No kidding. There's pages-long threads on their boards about who's bored with the game and already quitting, and why it sucks so much, and it wasn't even a week since the launch... o.O

Babylon 5 would be the perfect universe fit for Eve's gameplay and economics engine.
