It definately looks like a glitch. Roids do have the hiccups too, they blow out every now and then. I sure hope this is not a new graphic for mining lasers beams...

Afafizz, It might be the issue depicted in the thread: Accounts randomly disabled - C refused In which case I recommend getting a Game Time Card. CCP time to reply to a petition can easily be 5-6 days.

Nah, speed cannot alter the server performance much. The demands to the server will depend on how often you can change direction, and this is actually filtered by the client, so you can't queue tons of 'navigation' queries. One could argue about...
