My wife used to treat addicts, amongst others, and she'd always comment that the worst form of addiction was alcohol. Coming off that is far, far more dangerous and damaging than the H stuff. Only one is tolerated by society and the other isn't.
true, forgot about alcohol. but disregarding alchohol, H stuff is.. quite bad. coke is bad but at least the person retains some functionality, for example, but H, he's as functional as a lump of inert flesh.
