I have returned with a bold new vision for the future of EVE.
I know the reason people know my name on the forums. I've been an advocate against carebears and hippies for years and have made countless posts waging the great flame war against them. However, this recent 6 month ban has made me realize that isn't the right way to go about this problem.
The problem, of course, is the gradual distillation of this game from a hard core one to a casual friendly console gamer one. Facts are that the EVE we have today is a shadow of the glory this game was pre-Dominion. Like a wood pecker gradually boring a hole in a tree the carebears have begun to hollow this game out.
However, I digress.
I have decided that the flame war is dead. The carebears and hippies have won the forums and there is nothing that my faction can do about it. The banning of people like me for "trolling" and "rumor mongering" is proof. The best option is to take a look at the game itself and what we can do there. I want to make a real difference on the personality of this game, for the better.
I hereby announce that I am going to dedicate myself and my game time to training the next generation of evil PVPers, gankers, AWOXers, corp thieves, and belligerent undesirables. To all carebears I say this: you may have won the forums but you can't win the war. By dedicating my game time to public education and training I hope to achieve 3 goals to make EVE a better game.
- Fund a new era of permanent ganking. This time it will be ganking industrial ships and blockade runners.
- Create a website where young belligerent undesirables can share ideas and learn from others. Communication and innovation are vital to keeping the hi sec experience fresh and exciting.
- Form an activist group to put pressure on CCP to reverse the buffs to hi sec and reverse the nerfs to lo sec.
More on all that will come soon, don't want my first post back to be tl;dr.
If you carebears think you don't like the miner bumpers wait until the real PVPers come for you.
