The same could have been said about Faction Warfare.

Oh, and OP: those were a list of things that would be good if they could happen over five years or soGǪ As the blog says, they're design goals, not something that is certain to happen. GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Nullsec is filled with carebears pretending to be something else, constantly whining and generally just being annoying, which basically just means no one wants to live there no matter what CCP does.
I do think it's perfectly fine that CCP spends time improving content playing by 20% of the player base, if the idea is to make it better and bring more players into that type of content. GÇ£The best way to keep something bad from happening is to see it ahead of time, and you can't see it if you refuse to face the possibility.GÇ¥ |

This!
What part of at least 5 years of development work do you not understand? To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

because the ALL KNOWING LOCAL is STUPID. Yes, almost as stupid as removing local without a better game mechanic to replace it. Now why would I feel stupid, when they have made exactly the same point I just did... repeatedly.
You might pay particular attention to this part:
Quote:Strong tools for collecting and sharing GùªTo support the other goals here, tools should be available for collecting and sharing intel that minimize the amount of rote work, particularly documentation, that players need to engage in. This frees up their attention for collaboration, analysis and decision-making.
There is a large amount of work that will have to be done before you can simply "remove local". New systems will have to be planned and developed... many of which will need to work hand in glove with other major game mechanics.
Gathering intel is going to take a lot of work to flesh out properly, into a believable and engaging area of gameplay... and that is going to take quite some time to develop.
Stop being a jackass.

Read the current threadnaught. This is precisely what the propaganda machine is geared up for. Read what Greyscale suggested in that, then read the quotes by many of the propagandists. Sound kind of the same?
Trust me, the summer release will fulfill all your wishes as high sec is left a smoking ruins. I particularly like GreyScale's comments about a new mechanism to massively increase extraction of low end mins (bye bye high sec mining profitability), and the removal of T2 mfg in high sec. I had thought Soundwave was the originator of this plan, but it is clear that GreyScale preceded him by a good amount.
Given the hit that mission just took with the new AI, and the plans for industry, the next target on the horizon will be Incursions again. But that campaign won't ramp up until the summer, not until the changes to high sec industry are made.

The way you are saying this, it almost seems like their bad changes for the game.
