I realize that I am the great truth of the game, and someday there will be monuments of me in every system in Eve, but someone just went through and liked a LOT of my posts, all it seems in one shot. Further, this person and I have not always seen eye to eye on these forums. I am more than a little curious why, and I am waiting for a reply to a couple emails I sent the person asking why.

Outside of the obvious reason that what I said struck a nerve, is there any kind of meta-game associated with "liking" someone's posts?

4. Be respectful of others at all times.

The purpose of the forum is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.



9. Private communication between the Game Masters, Eve Team members, moderators and administrators of the forum and the forum users is not to be made public on these forums or by any other venue.

You are not permitted to publicize any private correspondence (including petitions) received from any of the aforementioned.



29. Personal attacks and abuse of CCP staff.

There has been a worrying trend of increased personal attacks on developers on our own forums as of late, this will not be tolerated. Our forums are an area for players to exchange ideas in a polite and friendly manner for the betterment of EVE Online. Players who abuse staff will receive a permanent forum ban across all of their accounts which will not be subject to review at any time.



30. Rumor threads and posts.

Rumor threads and posts which are based off no actual information and are designed to either troll or annoy other users will be locked and removed. Players who engage in these type of threads can expect to receive a warning and ban.
