Cas Mania, auction plexes were paid by the teams to enter the tournament. ;)
As for the rest, its simple
1. Plexes were handed out, medals too (they could have been less generic), team game cards, excellent work.
2. Shirts - that was CCP responsibility from the begining
3. 3rd party did not pay and CCP was within its rights to decline to pay up, and TBH I would understand that. However, CCP announced that they will, and from that moment they took the responsibilty. The fact that 3rd party does not exist anymore is now irrelevant. CCP could choose to pay out in plexes, that would cost them nothing. Some players even suggested that it would be acceptable.
Also I do not condone slacking and "low priority", if something is task, it should be done.
How to pay the prizes
1. Get the data and organize it
- player names are on the team game cards, make a table, add names as first column
- from the accounts information, add the e-mail as second column
- send the e-mail (form sheet with bank account data has been sent already by Dolan), some players are complaining they have not received the mails yet
- add received bank account into the third column
2, Anlyze the data and resolve problems
- is payment info missing for some players? - send mail again, also evemail
- state that if payment info is not received, you will drop plex equivalent on their character hangar in JIta after period of time
- are they not adults to be able to receive money? - drop plex again
- finance department or approval for cash missing - say you are sorry, blame 3rd party, drop plex to palyer hangars
- some other problems? ask us for help or advice, either here or by e-mail, we will help
- perhaps offer to all plex ?
3. Pay
- give the table to nice lady in finance department, she will use e-banking and payment data to send money
How to issue the shirt rewards
1. Get the data and organize it
- player names are on the team game cards, make a table, add names as first column
- from the accounts information, add the e-mail as second column
- send the e-mail with question about shirt size, and shipping data, like address, city, country (has not been asked yet)
- add received info into the third column
2. Anylyze and order the shirts
- send inquiry or see for yourself on the web page about the price of sending the shirts, you can check FedEx, DHL, or another applicable courrier, or Island postal service
- order the shirts from the manufacturer, those are the same shirts you wore on the FanFest, doesn't need to be anything special, I like your black shirts (its a shirt, not T-shirt), although adding to your standard black shirt the player name and "NEO 2012" is trivial
3. Organize the shipping
- courrier service can pick the shirts from manufacturer, or manufacturer can send directly, or to CCP, whatever is convenient
This can not take 6 months.
