After 3+ yrs i've decided to unsub. This game is just TOO damn boring for what i am paying compared to other games (ie WOT), i find myself these days rather going to the dentist then logging in. So effective today i have unsubbed my 5 accounts and have no plans on returning. So long EVE community its been a great ride o7

I know sometimes it's difficult to realize just how much you spend on incidental things each month or year, but seriously, EVE is very cheap entertainment compared to most things... If you are a smoker, smoke one less pack a week and pay for EVE, with money left over to pick up a cheap bundle of flowers for the EVE widow upstairs. |

Seriously though, it'd be a waste if you never came back; you should do something nice with it. But regardless, good luck in your future endeavors. I'm not sure WoT is the game I'd go to if I left EVE, but I've never tried it and the RMT super powers don't appeal to me.
I've tried pay to play RMT in Evony; you just can't compete with people who blow a $1000 bucks a day on those things, kill a server, then move to a new one and do the same. Got to be rich to do that crap; and out of your mind mad.
..anyway, best of luck. Should just drop 3-4 accounts if it's the cost that bothers you. You can always transfer toon to fill the slots on the other accounts if you feel you need them for this and that. I only run 2 accounts at most these days, though I've had up to 6 in the past. Wasn't worth it in my opinion. Can't play them all anyway.

when i was like in my early teens the dental office i went to had a really super hot dental assistant or whatever they call it. i got her every time for a couple years and then one time i didn't get her and my bother did and i didnt speak to him for like ten years because of it

I find myself playing Eve when I travel because it works great on a crappy laptop. It's more fun than watching tv.
But when I'm home I ususally have so many more things to choose from Eve usually is last in that list.
I find the meta game more interesting than playing most of the time. (Blogs, podcasts, forums, etc.) |
