Well done app, great developer responses to user feedback, PC and MAC support. You're doing it right. Never start a fight you can win.

Sorry for the late reply but yeah, I've stopped playing a while ago now and I only read to forum once in a while to check for any requests/questions regarding this application.
You can add spaces with the Custom text component. You can even add multiple spaces if you want more space to be between multiple components, this option however isn't implemented in my application so I will have a look at this and post a new version once I fixed it. Thanks for the headsup! =)

A new release has gone out with the following bug-fix:
Multiple spaces in the Custom text component weren't shown in the example, they were however shown in-game. The multiple spaces are now also shown in the example. Creator of the EVE Custom Ship Labeler application: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=188954&find=unread |

On first reading your description of the application, I thought it somehow was able to apply ship decals that CCP has been saying will come Soon (tm), if only for our own benefit and not universally viewable. Ah, well.
I remember finding and using the original article to manually edit the XML file to make changes to the on-screen identification label of ships in space. And, subsequently lost my edits and the bookmark. So, it was nice to find this.
While your application is certainly much easier to use than manually editing the XML, it should go without saying that the ability to Open previously saved files is an absolute MUST have. It is not a feature, it is a MUST. I don't care how easy you think it is to recreate the work, it is easier to Open a previously saved file that was tinkered with to adjust everything just right. Perhaps, you have the Microsoft thought to charge for this optional feature?
Also, I had to put in a leading space in bold in order to adjust the size of the text of the label in the first line. I may have read this among the comments, not sure.
Thanks for the application, but it does require one more capability. |

Thanks for the application, but it does require one more capability. First of all thanks for the input. I do like the idea that this was an application that enabled placing decals on your ship, but sadly enough that would mean I had to manipulate the client which isn't allowed according to the EULA hehe...
About the ability to load previously saved files. It would be possible to add this ability for exports made with the application, but doing this for xml-files that are edited without the application is harder because of the way the xml-files are set up. Because of that reason loading xml-files could be experienced as annoying because it doesn't work the way people want it to work.
Now I can hear you asking "So why don't you just change your way of setting up the xml?". Because that would bring other complications to the application, making it a lot harder for people to make a shiplabel, which is contrary to the first and foremost use of this application: ease-of-use.

Can you be more specific about this? I tried adding both custom text and a shipname component bold and/or with a bigger fontsize at the first row and the first line and this is working as intended. I didn't need to put a leading space in bold in order to achieve this.
