Ladies and Gentlemen, dear pilots,
There have been several clumsy attempts in the past to designate who would be the greatest beauty in Eve. However, if many who have been chosen had great qualities, the winners did not gain much popularity. It is now time for a great event who will make the winners famous. *smiles*
Soooooooo, here is my proposal: let's organize a great Miss Eve event! Candidates would be selected by regions, then by empires to finally enter the final Miss Eve contest.
In each region we need volunteers to organize an election, therefore we will have to elect Miss Domain, Miss Sinq Laison, Miss Metropolis, Miss The Forge *giggles* and maybe some from more wild and dangerous areas *shivers* if some bold souls are willing to organize such dangerous events!
If some regions are underpopulated maybe we could arrange to group some. Once we have a Miss elected in all those regions we could then elect Miss Gallente, Miss Caldari, Miss Amarr and Miss Minmattar. Again we can possibly add a few other from other empires, why not a Miss Khanid?
Finally we could elect Miss Eve in a final contest, and she will become famous, the queen of Eve for a year and we could of course negociate for her contracts with the smart corps who will want to have her promote their activities *grins*.
Soooooooo, if you want to be part in this great adventure and be part of the electing committee in your region, please mention your name and the region where you are willing to organize an election. Each region committee will have to designate one or two representatives who will then participate in the organization at the next level.

Since I am Gallente and have most of my activities in Sinq Laison, I will then join the Sinq Laison committee and be candidate for the Gallente committee and the Miss Eve committee, naturally.

I can offer my services right away as cheif medical guy of the event & offer free checkups & a good going over of each girl to asshure the voters there in the best possible physical condition.
I can maybe offer more help & have some ideas as normal hehe.

She doubtlessly would have been Ms Pure Blind, however I haven't seen her in that region in a while. It has been, sadly, fairly dead recently.
Perhaps we need a fleet of scouts, a veritable flock of capsule pilots to literally scour the known universe. Then, perhaps, we can discover the region for which she would be crowned.

SinBin, you are right, Miss Eve must be in perfect health, I assume you have all the medical knowledge to ensure this, we don't want our inv.. I mean our winner become sick in a middle of a promotional show. *smiles*

I'd be up for Miss Bleak, but I'm not incredibly bothered. Besides, it's tough competition over here, what with Myadra and Gogo (when Gogo is around). I guess you could say I'm the most 'bleak' as it were...

About the rules, these are still in discussion but I can give some details about how I see it *smiles*.
Young pilots who just start fresh from the academies will of course be accepted as candidates, for the jury it is different as it will be formed with well known pilots of the region of the election.
Actually, we plan to have these elections in a few systems, maybe 3 or 4 in each empire, preferably where the academies are and it will be a public live event. If it turns out that more people want to help on organisation then we will be able to expand this.
After that each empire will elect the Miss for the empire, amongst the 3 best placed of each region, and finally Miss Eve will be elected amongst the 3 best of each empire.
During the election events, local corporations will be allowed to advertise for a small fee, and in return the winners of the elections will gain a small money price, probably around 1Misk for the winner and a bit less for the second and third places. *grins*

Oh yes no problem with outer empires, except that I am not going to organize the contests there. This is why we need more volunteers to cover more regions *smiles*.
For special cases like Khanid Kingdom, if a Miss Khanid is elected then she will be accepted in the Miss Eve final contest but I will not organize such an event myself, for diplomatic reasons.
In general I prefer if elections are organized by locals who know the politics, but I will guarantee at least 3 regions for each empire, this is what I meant.

Thank you all for your interest. Actually the few who are trying to organize this are discussing what the rules will be.
We are in dire need of organizers since this is going to be a huge event, specially for Amarr, Minmattar and Caldari regions.
Then we will select the jury for each region, it has already started for the Sinq Laison region since this is the one I take in charge personally.
Candidates are welcome too but it is a bit early as of now . As I see this, to be candidate for a region you will need to be either of a bloodline corresponding to this region or have your corp HQ in this region. But this is still open to discussion of course.

As a servant of the latter, I'd like to participate in any way I'm able. I was the head organizer of the GLB Beauty Test for some months, and may be able to provide some insight in the world of physical beauty.
Oh, and I'd be more than happy to represent the Pure Blind or Placid Regions if able. I can be found at either with some frequency.

These are excellent news . I add you to the list of organizers Kaleigh. Yes I remember this test, it was very good. The main difference I see is that I want this one to be a live event. We will open a special communication channel for the elections after the jury and candidates have been gathered.
The business part concerns the jury, I thought it should be composed of VIPs of the region to elect he candidates. However as the organizer you will select the jury yourself, so we don't need to argue about this.
The aesthetics part is related to the candidates. Do you want your word into candidates selection? You can discuss with Speedoman about this.
Both regions you mentioned are open, so you can organize for the one you prefer or the two. We still need more organizers, specially Amarr and Minmattar.
