I was wondering if there was a way to put your own mp3 files in the jukebox and play them during the game.

Open your ccp folder, then open the 'res' folder. After that make a folder called Sound inside the res folder. In the sound folder, make a folder called Music. In the music folder, place all your mp3 in it, and then (using winamp), make a playlist of all the songs. Now this is the part i forgot, anyone remember what to name the playlist? I know that if you want to change the login music, call in login. All playlists must be in m3u format. ___________________________________

The playlist has to be called "inflight.m3u".

Another possibility:
The eve jukebox is very limitted in terms of features. Just turn off music in game, start winamp with your playlist of choice before you launch eve, and you are good to go.

CCP I think said that sooner or later they would release a feature to edit your playlists...
But right now there is one problem with the workaround.
I DO like at least 3-4 of Jon's songs a LOT! (my other residancy/gallentean 1, and rose of victory for starters), but I can't here a few of those as they arn't in MP3 format (Except for My other Residancy of course which is on the DL page under gallentean 1).
I'd rather turn off a few of the less interesting songs and import two or three songs of my own... Oh well... CCP PLEASE put in the jukebox editor thingy ASAP, Naturaly bug fixes and things come first, but don't forget this feature or more ship visual customization (paintjobs and decals for example).
Those two features are nice cherries on top hehehe.

I can't vouch for the jukebox changes coming anytime soon because - as you pointed out, yourself - there are other things that are much higher on the priority list and there are alternatives to the standard issue Jukebox feature.
Ship customization was something I had asked about recently, too, because I know that's something that the players want and it would be nice to be able to put some of these awesome corp logos I've seen in the game onto ships. (Quite impressive the way people have used the layering and colors to create such unique and gorgeous corp logos. Kudos to everyone who's done that.)
We used to have Paintshop in the game during Alpha and Beta, but the problem was that the emblems were so small, you had to be right up on someone to see it. The idea hasn't been completely scrapped, but Solaris would like to find a way to put it in and have the symbols be more visible. Again - and unfortunately - this isn't exactly high on the priority list, either. (Though I would rank it higher on the list than the Jukebox changes.)

It's about time we had a 'hardcore' sticky on this subject. I've lost count of the number threads asking this same question. (Having a search option in this forum would help too).
oh- and 'Jovian Riddle' is the best track, period.
