I have the skills and the money for both ships but havnt decided which one to buy can someone give me the pros and cons to both ships

Megathron : Unnatural skill points needed to fly properly, for PvP at least. You cant fly a megathron with only ~5m'ish SP's ...
Raven : Unlike the megathron you can fly this thing with 5m SP's pretty efficiently. But be warned, they are getting nerfedÖ. If you plan to do lvl 4 missions get a raven, pvp snipership megathron/apoc

Since your picture isnt showing up, i guess you are new so my advice would be a raven, at least befor the missile nerf.
Ravens pros are basically that missiles need hardly any training for, the downside is the missiles take time to travel.
Megathorons need shed loads of skills, not just gunnary but nav skills to since mwd+blasters use alot of cap so you need both nav, cap, and gunaary skills to keep everything running sweetly. (oh and also drones)

If it is for missions L4 & NPC hunt in 0.0 raven will serve you more than you expect.
After the nerf (everyone is mention it but they don't have a clue what they are talking about),
torps will fly faster
they will do little damage to frigates (that's why people cry)
t2 launchers and missiles will be in the game along with more skills to specialize (what kind of nerf is that?????)
It will be easy to adapt, by using cruise launchers, smartbombs or even better 125mm t2 railguns for all those friggies you will not be able to kill with torps. The big difference with the other BS is that Raven has plenty of options do the same damage before and after against BS, and use new technics for the tinies.
For pvp i prefer the use of AF or interceptor (raven is briliant in battles but i prefer flexibility).

I fly both Raven and Mega.
The Raven is tougher and more forgiving of mistakes, damage out put is not a good but that will change after missile fix.
The Mega, well the mega has lots of obvious weakness it is skill hungry and unforgiving but over all is more fun to fly. The mega's damage out put is amazing.

the mega is ok ship for mining having many drones for defense as well, raven is bad for mining as it can only mount 4 lasers.

Actually i think they will be balanced
i.e. torps will/should do up close damage vs big targets whereas cruise do 425mm-type damage at distance allthough i do think ccp need more time to work through the numbers to make sure its all ******dorry

megathron get your skills to atleast hmmm 8mil or sumtin like tht then get tech 2 425s and snipe im hitng some frickin insane dmg with them in my sniperthron at ranges of 180k

Couldn't have said it better. Get a Raven and do as many L4 missions as you can before the missile changes come in. You'll earn so much ISK you'll have a Megathron in no time.
