Random question. If I'm in Gallante Faction Warfare, can I go to a Amarrian Controlled system and capture it? Or must I only fight on the Caldari front?

Each system that is located in a combat zone is fought over by two opposing factions. The faction owning Occupancy is the defender, while the one trying to gain it is the attacker. "Allied" factions cannot claim the system by themselves but may help the attacking/defending faction in their task.

Thanks. Will the standings effects and payouts also not apply unless they are in the appropriate contested system as well? Or will a Gallante capturing a Amarrian dungeon for the Minimatar have the same payout?

You can farm all the amarr systems you want. Since the caldari now only have 4 systems you need to go down to amarr to make any real money in frog mil. |

Don't fill peoples heads with lies in a futile attempt to save the amarr from the plexing hoards of the frog brigade. You will lose your space as well and the FW farmville will continue adnauseum until there is nothing but ashes left in the hole that used to be faction warfare. |

CCP should implement sth. that you can-¦t enter plex with stabbed ship. |

Of course, some of us would find the Gallente caming down to plex Amarr space preferable to them running their own missions and not impacting the warzone.

Apparently you have never run a Gallente FW missions or know anything about them. I think most Gallente would rather run a plex over a mission, our missions are harder and take much longer than any other militia's. Caldari rats use boat loads of ECM and fire missiles, both of which makes them much harder. The missiles the rats use make stealth bombers with meta launchers, the ship the other militia's use to mission, not viable. Add to that the fact you are going to get ECM'ed 10,000 times, and you got your self a pretty good reason to take a vacation to Amarr territory. I run missions in a battlecruiser with 2 ECCM, I still get jamed out at least 4 times a mission (more on longer missions). |

Confirming it's a PITA. Have to stay close to drones and recall them numerous times. |

What lies? Go dock in any station - not like you'd leave Nourv to begin with - check LP for level4s. Now do the math! And no, spending half an hour on a mission with a bomber like a nooblet is not the way to farm. There are tier3 BCs and Rooks in this game for a reason. |

What stops you from rolling your own stabbed farmer alts? Oh right, the miner alt, the 0.0 main and the OGB alts are all more important for you than FW.

We are talking about 29 (?) systems to plex. Please drop into the Sisiede pocket where we have one to two booster alts covering each of five systems. Our kill to death ratio is at LEAST 7-1 for several months going now. RTS will set an extra place at the table for you. |

If you really want to tell me seriously most fun and most importatnt objective in this game is "orbit button" with stabbed ship at all then you should better switch to games like farmville.
There are some people doin pvp. And there are some people farming. The pvpers make it mostly possible that farmers can do mostly undisturbed farming.
Although all this farming sh..... should be cut off. Only problem is that CCP isn-¦t able to do it, or doesn-¦t want to do it what is far more probable.
Doing "farming" while sitting in plex with 10 man fleet and waiting for pvp is okay. Plex fights are kinda cool.
Doing farming (sometimes with bot) with ultraweird fit in stabbed ship is junk.
CCP should implement sth. that you can-¦t pose on forums without a brain :P |

Finally a Gallente vs. Amarr topic!
Almity of In Exile. brought a joint Amarr fleet (mostly In Exile, Fweddit, and Agony, with others also representing) up to Old Man's Star to provoke a gf from the Gallente because we read on the forums that Caldari wouldn't fight them. And indeed, the Gallente politely notified us they were forming up for us, and then we had a fairly epic battle lasting over half an hour, with hero logis, frenetic target switching, and much reshipping.
The best available BR seems to be at eve-kill:

Chivalrous gf's were exchanged afterwards and Gallente granted the Amarr safe passage back home. I think both sides were wondering why we don't get such high quality and respectful fights from our respective actual FW opponents. Perhaps familiarity breeds contempt. |
