I will be giving a short statement, after which I will recieve a limited number of questions from the assembled news organisations'. 'For many months now, since the collapse of various powers within the Syndicate region, we have seen this part of 0.0 sec space descend into lawlessness and chaos once again. Over recent weeks, a growing momentum has developed for those of us who call it home, to create something better, founded on the ashes of those that have gone and those that are but a shadow of what they once were'. 'As such it is with great pride I announce the creation of a new republic in Syndicate, an alliance of corporations together in a commune of military and economic force called The Nova Republic'. 'The purpose of this alliance is not to throw open the doors of Syndicate and make it pirate free for all. The Nova Republic is the citizens of Syndicate bound together for thier own greater good, though we welcome new people to the area, we are neither a training ground for those new to 0.0 sec or indeed a covering force for pure industrial operations.' 'Instead we are a Republic, dedicated to the defense of our home and interests in Syndicate, as well as a community supporting each other to gain benefit from the resources and opportunities Syndicate has to offer those who venture there'. 'By the Standards of other Alliances, we claim all of Syndicate with the exceptions of the small territory of 3rd Front and those parts already controlled by our northern neighbours, but to us it is not a matter of claim, we are the citizens of Syndicate and we declare it a free and democratic republic!!' 'The Republic has an open space policy, feel free to travel, explore and mine in Syndicate. We welcome all with two exceptions, those who intend harm against the people of our republic and those that would wish to close off sections of our free region. Enter at your own risk, we are not knights, bound to save every empire green pilot who gets himself in trouble.' I seem to remember you making a big song and dance about how much alliances sucked with all the politics, claiming territory, and resource hogging and yet here you are founding your own alliance? And making political connections and claiming territory... the whole of the syndicate no less, how audacious of you. If you had any sycophants im quite sure they would be massaging your over inflated ego right now. I doubt there are many Syndicate 'residents' who would accept your claim on our home. And as Kage mentioned, it is next to impossible to enforce a claim the Syndicate. You're not the first alliance to have ideals like that, you should know from past experience, so im wondering just how long it takes before you realise the syndicate doesnt want to be brought together, your ideals crumble away and you'll make a b-line for the most resource rich area of the Syndicate; dig in and become as paranoid and terratorial as its previous denziens and previous alliances who shared your doctorine. Personally, I'll tolerate you, but I sure as hell wont welcome you into my home. Good luck, you'll need it. A cease fire has been made between the two alliances, till things can be settled. To all the people who think we will claim this region, please read our statement once again. No claims will be made, other than us enforcing Syndicate to prevent pirates from flourishing. We don't have our "ways". It's plain and simple, if you are in Syndicate to kill and bring destruction, you will be KOS to our pilots. If you are neutral and haven't got any standings toward us, we will not intervein in your business. We chose to make this alliance to bring unity to our corps, and have people with the same attitude in the alliance. Our goal might be close to unreachable, but if it could be done in the matter of days or weeks, it wouldn't really be a goal. Our ideals are longterm based, and it would result in our ideal world. The question is to kill and bring destruction to who. But to clarify your position.. will you shoot people who: Shoot at Imp? Shoot at 3FA? Shoot at TFC/BOS/the people living in JQV? Shoot at neutrals? I assume this would be yes. Shoot at the miners who pay ASS for mining in Y9G? (I assume they still sell mining passes there )

Do not let your hostility toward my alliance cloud your judgement when referring to my comments, I do not share the same mentality as my compatriots and it saddens me deeply that I must go to such extraordinary lengths just to make you aware of this. Regardless of your apparent ignorance in this matter, I'll not hold it against you in the unlikely event we meet in the Syndicate. NOVA is not here too 'claim' in the traditional sense any space, meerly we call syndicate our home, and as with all homes we will not let **** be brought in an walked around. we are by no means a syndicate 'police force' just a group of like minded corporations who wish too work closer together too try and bring stability too the areas that they operate in. do not mistake us for a syndicate alliance that wants all of the region under our heel, we just wish too make it a little more homely for its residents
