aloha
i have been hearing that, when u hit lvl5 bs on your skill, u will get some kind of bonus. is this true?
i dont really beleave it, but i have to ask :)
if YES what kind of bonus is it be?

Well, you get your exrta 5% or whatever your racial battleship bonus gives. But no 'magic' at reaching level 5.
However, you will be 5% better off than most of the players out there. lvl 5 is a big investment.

If you think you can do a better job, go find yourself a datacentre to host a box, get a copy of Visual Studio, and STFU.

5% extra damage on a gankageddon would be damn nice, would be nice to know no-one had a skill edge over you in battle.
Also you wont get a "majic" bonus as such but you will be ready for T2 bs whenever/if they ever come out.

A couple of my tech2-1400-corpmates have been training minmatar battleship to level 5, so that means a 5% damage increase on what... 2000 or 2500 damage? Granted, it's quite a bit, but I wouldn't wanna train 30 days for it.
If you really want to have the edge, train it up to level 5. If not, stick at level 4 which is already roughly 7 days of training. ;)

or if you wan't to pilot a pirate faction battle ship raise bolth required battle ship skills to level 5 and you will get major bonuses.
pirate faction battle ships have a requirement of 2 empire battle ship skills to pilot. And get bonuses of each empires battle ship skill level.

You've probably seen most of them already. Some are NPC battleships (like the Sansha or Angel battleships), others are classic player battleships with a different skin.

well with BS 5 you'll get a huge 150 more damage with the 1400 II's i'll tell you that much :P
