Repackaged ships on chaos are now a lot smaller then their assembled versions An Incursus is 29.500m3 assembled and becomes 2500m3 repackaged. A thorax goes from 112.000m3 to 10.000 m3
A very handy change ---------------------------

Nice! So you can fit a thorax in a hauler now eh? Hmm...

Wouldn't you be the lucky pirate to pop a hauler and get a cruiser out of the deal ;) Semper Fi, Jonis- |

That is very cool and something we probably should have seen a long time ago. Wonder if it will last past freighters.
Maybe there are new anti-yulai measures going in to prevent further hubbing? Note the new tax thingy.

I seem to recall a dev first saying they were going to do that about oooh 18 months ago now I guess ? . ----- Apologys for any rambling that may have just occurred.

Going to make moving T2 ships to market much easier, at least. Can just load ,say, 10 interceptors into an Occator and haul them wherever they're needed. Probably going to make for a more centralized ship market (ie. Yulai).

It also allows the transport of frigates to where bpcs aren't useful. I guess if you could assemble them at starbases, they'd be useful at more than stations that don't have factories.

Realy nice feature, especialy for us traveling impared that want to get t2 ships.
For some odd reason people just dont manufacture t2 ships in low sec =/

For some odd reason people will probably not stuff them in a transport to haul them through 0.0 either :P

Would be nice if they did that to Cargo Containers too...especially the Station Containers....I mean, come on, they are mostly empty space ------------------- |

if you pay in advance - offer protection in and out - and pay an insurance premium for my ship - I will deliver for you into 0.0 on the understanding that if I lose my ship - you lose your new ship in the process - I can provide the service to all pirates and pvpers under the same conditions and that if I am podded or lose my ship then I will refuse to deliver any ships to the player and corporation that did the killing and your name and the corp name will be black listed for all other people offering the same service

Would be cooler if we could make trojan freighters. Blast one open to find 'voila' theres about ten pilots in ships that suddenly spring out into action. ---

I agree, unassembled containers should take up much less space than they currently do.
